the updated organized to do our will book is now up.

i just skimmed through it very quickly and i think they are more lenient on reporting time now (p. 76):.

there are essential activities for which time is not counted, such as getting ready for field service, attending themeeting for field service, running errands, and so forth.

Let's Consolidate World Branch Layoff Threads - Oct 2015

there has been many threads from various posters around the world about recent bethel layoffs.. so far i remember threads about:.

south africa.

united states.

European Branch (selters in germany) will be reduced by 25%.
Means, 25% of older ones will be cut off.
Longtime goal: rejuvenating cure and save money - less service for bethelites (no room maids, reduction (simplification) in the dining room and kitchen etc.

Special-Pioneers who were invited for a limited time - will be cut off.

You get your assignment for a limited period. Only the special-pioneers with a "limited" assignment are canceld.

"Normal" special-pionieers are still in there asignment and older ones will not be laid off.

Are they really letting the ones go that are 50 and older?

Bethelites - YES.
Special-Pioneers - NO.

Are Circuit Overseers next?

last year saw the elimination of the district overseer...and circuit overseers now must retire at 70. how long until the circuit overseer is no more?

of course, the role might still exist, they would simply not get paid.

they would have to care for their own expenses.
