Are Circuit Overseers next?

Last year saw the elimination of the district overseer…and circuit overseers now must retire at 70. How long until the circuit overseer is no more?

Of course, the role might still exist, they would simply not get paid. They would have to care for their own expenses. And they might be local to the circuit…a kind of super-COBE. I know there was a rumor to this effect a number of years ago, but it never transpired.

They could easily lay off 50% of the CO's and have the CO visit only once a year.

The COs are another example of an unsustainable arrangement.

The last few years of meeting attendance I noticed it was becoming harder and harder to find people willing to offer lunch and accommodation for the CO. I wondered if this was a trend elsewhere.

Omg, that's crazy. What about the zone overseers?

Were the DO's just reassigned as Special Pioneers?
