But that doesnt make sence at all, since every language pronounces it in its own way, and further more, it might not even be the right form. Anyway that was just a small observations."

  I had the same discussion with an elder. He told me also, that we have to pronounce the name Jehovah correctly.

  Interesting his reasoning: The slave SHOWS us with the soundfiles on JW.ORG, how to pronounce correctly. We must obey the slave in this thing.

  School for Congregation Elders

  i attended the school late last year, and it was an emotional and mental rollercoaster for me.

  i was already divided in my heart to say the least.

  one of the instructors stayed in my home for the week, and my family genuinely enjoyed his company.

  But the time will come.

  Take me for example. When I was a young boy, old pubs were not relevant for me. I believed every thing from the slave.

  Also this statement:

  Today this old pub is relevant for me. It shows - that all the writings from the slave about the end is near - just around the corner - are a lie.

  In this regard, we are pleased to announce that revised editions of "What Does the Bible Really Teach? "and “Keep Yourselves in God’s Love” will be released in the future.

  My mother will not be amused about this, because her "old" books are underlined - in JW-speak "STUDIED".

  She has to do this again in the new books - or otherwise she will be considered as "weak" (no underlined books).

  I know this, because I gave her a new bh-book in the actual 2013-september version and borrowed her bh-book from 2005 (first edition).

  She did not give up to request the "studied" book back.

  Why are alot of JW's Fascinated with Sci-Fi?

  i am still in & gradually fading.

  i have always wondered why alot of jw's that i know are really into alot of sci-fi stuff like star wars, i robot, x-men stuff etc.

  i mean they take it another level with this fantasy stuff.

  Same to me.

  Perry Rhodan all the time. I think - it was an escape from all the WT stuff at home.

  As JW I had not much friends (all this bad wordly people) - and so I could escape from the reality into the world of SF.

  let me count: a person is 1935 ten year old and is preching (like Jesus) and will be privileged to survive "the great tribulation"? This person ist today 89 years old.

  If someone asks me when will you come back into the KH - I always say: SOON.

  How do we set up a "Used New Bike Fund" for Terry?

  is there any way we can try to start a crowd-fund to help terry get some wheels quicker than he currently can?

  with craigslist and a couple of bucks from a few members we can help terry get moving.

  does anyone have any ideas how we can do a "theists for terry" bike fund raiser and challenge the atheists to a bucket-head challenge?

  144,000 New Light update

  i updated the list of partakers to 2013 (see below)...if i was to predict as to what new light might be coming down the borg poop shoot may be.

  i would predict that they need to do something about the 144,000 being a literal number.. for two reasons:.

  1. the number of partakers is increasing every year.
