  so how's this weekend been for youse?

  mrs ozzie and i are taking things very quietly.

  i watched the liverpool v arsenal game last night and right now we're enjoying some typical eastern european cake brought to us by a neighbour.

  a recent excursion into the woods culminated in the procurement of a huge batch of sheep head mushrooms.

  i mentioned this to a friend and said i had made some killer soup!

  her reply was that i should "stick to the edible varieties"........lol!.

  when the couple over the road had their housewarming party, it had rained hard the weeks before and our paddock was covered in huge 'shrooms. They collected them and had them on the BBQ for all to eat, the lady of the party had been taught by her parents what you could and could not eat... they were the best.

  Most of the wimmen here are owned by Brummie, Elsewhere and Doc. Until you are allowed to actually address the women directly, all posts are to go via Brummie Eleswhere or Doc. If you are caught trying to talk directly with the women, you will be taken out back and painted with honey and thrown into a nest of ants.

  Once you have worked out what the buttons do, you'll see that there is nothing to fear here, (except RF and Prisca) and that I am joking.

  Elevation to Godesses

  i do not wish to hijack minimus's thread on the opposite sex -- but i think women are so wonderful that i think some should be elevated to the status of godesses -especially here on this board -- now i am not against a bit of "false" worship -- so my two nominations are vivamus (wrapped in blue bubblegum) and xena -- possibly stinkypantz -- wot says youz guys?

  remember -- we can not elevate all to godess status as that would diminish the status -- otherwise every woman on this board could have the role

  when you were a jw, how did you view jehovah?was he some almighty god who was to be feared yet respected ?did you fear him, terrified that if you didn't obey every commandment and society rule, you would be doomed at armageddon?did he seem a benevolent god, one who looked after and cherished you?did you feel as though he was close, listening to every prayer, watching over you with concern and love ?or was he watching you so as to judge every wrong thought and action, condemning you when you were anything less than spiritually strong or pure?.

  and how do you view him now ?
