Thanks for your efforts; I look forward to reading it.
Emma
today i received the letter sent to all the elders in michigan that our friend outaservice was referring to a few days ago.
i was planning on scanning it and putting it up on the jwd.
but the print if very, very tiny and my hubby (who knows how to scan) said it will be very hard to see.
Thanks for your efforts; I look forward to reading it.
Emma
i know we have some exjw's on the board that are from michigan.
but what i'm wondering is if anyone here would remember a story that came out of the brighton, michigan area about 15 - 20 years ago.. apparently a young woman da'ed and then some time later was (if my memory serves me correctly) killed in a car accident.
i believe her parent's da'ed soon after.
bttt
I'd like to hear, too.
.
i really fancy a cup of tea and a cake, maybe cos i am british?
It's 9:40 a.m. here but I've been having trouble sleeping. Maybe that bottle of port...
I have no trouble napping, though.

A nap.

fourth question:.
sub-forsanta, a nonprofit organization i work with, donates gifts to families in need every december.
Goes to show you how easily they will do something they want, as long as its worded properly..
They love to play word games and split hairs; my ex was an absolute master of this. It took me years to recognize it as deceit.
In our town, the police department gets names from the free lunch program in the schools. When I was newly separated I qualified for help, and we got a call. We didn't think of ourselves as poor so it hurt to know others thought about us that way. My 12 year old daughter said their must be some mistake and they should help out a needy family! I knew I was doing something right.
Sorry for the ramble. My point is that you don't have to "sign up" it can just come knocking.
Emma, who loves to celebrate Christmas!
my elderly dub aunt (who's the biggest whiner the world has ever seen) came over tonight to first of all, whine about how her neighbour shuts her kitchen cupboard doors in the most annoying way possible and her dog barks and what was she supposed to do about it?
anyway, as soon as these monumental problems were solved, she informed me that at the bookstudy the other night, the conductor told everyone to "stay after the prayer" as he had 'something important to announce.
" naturally everyone did this, all the while wondering if the red phone at patterson was in direct contact with jehovah himself as the study was being conducted.
I was thinking it might be loosening up on something and that those who have made whatever "sacrifice" for years will be angry that their efforts have been wasted. (The blood issue comes to mind, but that's just because it's on the top of my head.)
Happy Birthday! Now can we cut the cake?
one of my friends who still is "faithfull" told me he plans to go back to the dc this weekend, to catch a few talks that he missed due to being on bathroom attendant duty.
did any of you know (or were you prone) to go to the same dc or assembly to catch parts you missed?
frankly even when i was in if i missed it i did not feel the need to make up a meeting.
I did; if I worked in the "kitchen" for one assembly, I'd go to another to attend the sessions. Sometimes I'd get recruited and guilted for not working again! They wanted everything!
for holding my hand and walking me through the registration process..........
Welcome; we'd love to hear more about you.
when i was a kid we had a small dog that loved spaghetti with tomato sauce.
he was our witness dog that would sit near the table and wait until after the prayer to start begging for food.. the two cats i had for 12 years loved some really odd things.
i was peeling corn on the cob tonight and missed having them pester me for raw corn niblets.
Scones, plastic bags.
