Jesus believed in Adam and Eve story - so it should be true, is like saying that Comic hero Superman believed in the Greek god Zeus, so Zeus is true

There is overwhelming evidence now that humans were existing on the planet for around 100000 years, atleast. This is Way far back than the Adam and Eve time line.
Adam and Eve is a fairy tale story and its no wonder than this mythical Jesus beleived it. The biblical writers created a Myth called Jesus and made that myth beleive the adam eve story. That what I beleive what happened.

When I got baptized, Jehovah never sounded from heaven (This is my son ...blah... blah..) as he did for Jesus
When I was a JW for 11 years, Jah never once commended me for all my sincere Kingdom activities
When I got doubts about the Org, Jehovah never cautioned me not to look at apostate sites.
When I quit WT, Jah never felt sad or said “Don’t leave my Org son"
After quitting - almost for 11 years - Jah never called me back.
Then why the Heck do they say "Return to Jehovah"
I would ask the above, if any JW tries to pull me into the cult again

That “disgusting thing” is the United Nations.
And Jehovah went and made an alliance with this disgusting thing ?

J.W's and " but that is Pagan !".
by Phizzy inthere have been a number of threads touching on this before, leolaia for one, back in the day when we had many an erudite poster, showed the pagan origins of many things, including the passover , and by extension, the jw " memorial".. what prompted my thought on this was a conversation i had the other day with a young lady, never a jw, who said the jw stance on birthday celebrations, was groundless and cruel.. i thought later that jw's do a " pick and mix " as usual, as they do with so many other things, on what they condemn as "pagan" and what they accept and practice.. the institution of marriage itself is pagan, marriages were performed long before the bible was written, and long before the nation of israel was formed.
yet jw's perform marriages, use the veil, and the ring, all pagan.
the names of the days of the week, the months of the year, all pagan.. i guess you guys can think of many more things ?

All days of the week and months are pagan, named after ancient Gods.
Celebrating wedding anniversaries are pagan. Baby shower celebration is pagan. Many restaurants offer a prayer before starting their business every day. Another Pagan thing. And JWs dont have a problem supporting these
Jws should work on their so called "Worldy holidays" because they are Pagan. Have you ever seen a JW go to his work on a pagan Holiday ?
Allowing a JW to die by refusing blood is a good thing
But making a person feel good on his birthday is evil and Pagan. WHAT A CULT

John 5:28,29.
by Lost in the fog inwe used to use this scripture to show that there was going to be a future resurrection.
but recently i got to thinking about it.
if the apostle paul was right in saying that the righteous on death would be changed in the twinkling of an eye from earthly life to heavenly glory why would there be a future resurrection needed for the righteous?

It’s absurd to the core, to believe in resurrection. Just take one Example:
When Lazarus was resurrected, why did he die again? He should be alive now. Because the Bible says, the wages of sin is death and whoever dies is cleared of their sins.
If Lazarus is still around, that would be an irrefutable proof that the Bible is true.
The Biblical beleif of resurreuction is just as good as the Egyptian belief of an afterlife.
In ancient tiimes, the Egyptians spent a lot of time, Energy and money to build pyramid tombs to support afterlife
JWs and christians do the same now
