  Jehovah created paradise to be perfect, right Dad ?

  So the animals too would be perfect, as it has been promised that death would be no more, nor crying nor suffering.

  And all carnivorous creatures would be eating Vegetation.

  And what about leprosy germs, TB germs, Virus, and Flesh eating bacteria. Oh... they too would be made perfect, to be more virulent? We have to wait and see

  And people won’t gossip, be selfish or harm others or even the slightest apostate thinking won’t come to their mind.

  And meetings - 5 times a day to praise Jah. What if I skip meetings , as I always did in the old world.

  No field Service, and fake time reporting, as all would be JWs. Phew…..That’s a good relief.

  No fear of Job Insecurity, Layoffs, Inflation, Pollution , Corruption, Crime. All taken care of by Jah + Jesus + 144K

  No Inorganic food stuff.

  And people can choose to live some 10 million years in the Alps, the next ten million years in the Americas, another 10 million in any tropical Island. You know, these are minuscule periods of time when compared to eternity

  Did the jw's leadership ever apologize for 1975?

  talking to my friend who's an elder, when i asked him did the leadership ever attempt to apologize for the 1975 prediction fiasco he said they did.

  and he was going to show me.

  This never fails to get to me.
  "It is to be regretted" -- passive voice.
  Even in an "apology", they refuse to take personal responsibility.
  Imagine "apologizing" in this manner in any other situation.
  "It is to be regretted that your best friend was slept with by myself on the eve of her wedding..."
  "It is to be regretted that gasoline was poured by myself all throughout your house, and a match was lit, and a fire was started..."

  Anyone know the significance of the three days and nights Jesus is dead?

  in my studies i’ve come to realize that most dying and rising gods such as inanna, jesus and others all were dead three days and nights.

  the moon is dead as far as man not being able to see it in the sky three days and nights but many of these gods are not associated with the moon, osiris maybe being the only exception.

  have any of you in your research come up with a plausible idea on why there all dead just threes days and three nights?.

  J.W.`s and Paradise and the Reality of it.

  when god created adam and eve and put them in the garden of eden it was then up to them to cultivate and take care of it ,god had no further hand in it .the responsibility rested with adam/eve and their offspring.. the same would be true in the paradise to come ,god gets rid of all of us wicked people ,but then it is up to j.w.~s who are left on this earth to restore such a paradise.?

  without god`s intervention.. think of it , this system is gone with all its infrastructure.. 8 million + j.w.`s scattered throughout the earth with.

  I was once told by an elder that Armageddon Survivors won’t miss their dead (non JW) friends and relatives in the new world because Jah would wipe their minds off their memories.

  Feel like throwing up when I think of this now.

  What Privileges do you get when you are baptized ?

  my husband was baptized at the recent 2018 convention in south africa ....... he was very annoyed that his non-believing wife did not attend the baptism....... but i think he received pressure from his jw father & elders as to why his wife was not attending ....... anyway ..... it's really water off my back .

  i wanted to know what privileges you get as a baptized jw man , as i saw a message from one of the elders at his cong , congratulating him on his baptism and to earning more privileges ..... what are these privileges the elder is speaking about ,,,,, .

  i don't feel like asking my husband as it just lands up in a stupid fight ..... or a long winded explanation ..... thanks .

  Privilege is a misnomer in the JW world. In simple terms, that is Free Labor you provide to the Watchtower.

  Recruiting others, which is called Field Service, Congregational responsibilities which includes a whole ton of activities for the WT, preparing for meetings and conventions and free Labor during conventions are all termed as Privileges in JW dom.

  my parents started attending the glendora congregation in 1961. my mother had a strange feeling about the congregation.

  there was something going on there that just didn’t feel right.

  there was a huge exodus going on of people leaving this congregation’s kingdom hall too.

  When I got myself Disassociated they announced as “So and so is no longer one of a Jehovah’s Witness”. They announce the same ambiguous way, either for Disfellowshipping or to any who gets disassociated.

  This is a clever tactic to keep the Congregation thinking that this guy might have Sinned Seriously and hence shun her/him. It also prevents the congregation to investigate why this guy got Disassociated himself and hence prevent them from knowing TTATT.

  Cunning as a pack of Foxes.

  Do Jehovah`s Witnesses lie to receive Government benefits ?

  jehovah`s witnesses do not respect the ,governments of any nation from my experience with "witnesses" over 33 years as a card carrying member.

  the governments are to be exploited taking advantage of all the provisions govt`s, hand out to their citizens.after all the govts, are under the control of satan the devil ,he is the ruler of this world and is at enmity with god.. so they feel justified in practicing deception as they the gov`ts.

  being opposer`s of truth have no right to know the real truth.. i personally knew of pioneers who had no intention of finding work but were happy to take unemployment benefits from the govt.

  I too know a few brothers and sisters who were deliberatley "Pioneeering" , taking Unemployement benefits as well Disablity benefits, even though they were more healthier than me

  n what sense was the apostle paul “caught away to the third heaven” and “into paradise”?​—2 cor.

  they've been flip flopping regarding this, stating that it is paul talking about himself to paul talking about the congregation and back again to paul talking about himself.it appears that three years ago david splane gave a talk during the convention explaining their latest ideas and it has taken all this time for it to get into print.

  there is some word of mouth evidence that he is buried under the garage of beth sarim.

  i think he is under the garage.

  Holy GB has a burial cemetery, especially for them? That’s News for me.

  That's an anointed holy pilgrim site I should visit for sure, to be blessed.

  But why can’t they be cremated - which is less expensive - as they would be resurrected anyway to join the 144K "Never defiled by women" crowd.

  JWs and 9-11. What was your reaction when it happened?

  it was shocking.. all these years later, i found myself crying for the dead for the first time..

  Arrived to my new Office 8AM. I had joined there a week before and was still staying in a hotel in Pennsylvania.

  9:00 AM a lot of commotion in office, with all my peers watching the tv.

  9:30 AM. All Employees told to leave.

  When I came out giant Helicopters were flying, possibly towards New york or Washington. Scary to watch.

  Came to my hotel and saw the twin towers attacked and colllapsing, on TV, along with the attack on the Pentagon.

  Kneeled down and prayed to Jehovah. Felt that Armeggadon was imminent.

  After that, I was waiting for the WT to print magazines on 9/11 , which eventually came out as Awakes.

  A lot of rumours after that. THat the WT is getting ready for an imminent Armeggadon, work is speeding up and all those cult nonsense.
