does anyone else remember a brochure/ magazine from the early 80s with stories of demon possessed individuals and spiritism ?
i dont think i saw it around very long.
it had a story about some lady having her head snapped around by a demon.
Another Christian woman kept a handbag given her by an aunt who was a fortune-teller. Using the handbag in the ministry, she experienced powerful thoughts of "Go home!"
Before I action on my previous comment, I am secretly planning to buy a handbag from a Fortune teller and give it to my still in JW wife and see the consequences.
We need to make sure of all things, you know, as the Bible says.

Ahh, I had this same feeling all the time in the FS. I always wanted to quit , go home and relax. I thought I was too lazy or not very spiritual. Now I realize that I had Purchased a suite from a GoodWill (I think thats a christian Charity store. Hence 100% demonic) store, which I used to wear for FS.
May be I should buy a brand new suit from any "Demon Free" store, get baptized as a JW again and try FS.

will the "slave" explain to their followers that such an invaluable "witnessing tool" is no longer to be used, or will they just revise it electronically to reflect "current truth?

If they want to lock the doors of KH during meetings for security reasons, then what the heck are those legions of angels doing ?

Please don’t defame King Solomon. He only had 700 wives and 300 concubines. Good enough for a person to write the Bible.
Even if he spends a day with one of these women - being an equal opportunity hubby - it would take 2.7 years for Solomon to come back to the same women again. Am I wrong in my Holy Math ? Not guided with Holy Spirit hence pardon me if I am wrong.
many people over many centuries have been involved in deciding which documents were scripture.
there has never been unanimous agreement, including today.
only the church of rome took a vote on the canon.
God interferes with the people in middle east (Why always Middle east. What’s so special there ?)
An then God Inspires his people - most of them anonymous- to write a collection of books, in very crude parchments and none of the originals exist today.
Centuries later the Roman aristocrats decide on which books to include and what to exclude, in what we call the Bible today.
For another 1500 years the Bible was circulated through handwritten copies, until the printing press came.
Then the Bible was further diversified into various versions, each version being claimed as the accurate ones, by their adherents.
And today, people have a responsibility of identifying the very true version and follow that to attain eternal life.
I don’t think the Biblical God is doing a good job here.
JW kids are dragged into FS and meetings during the weekend and flatly deprived of the Joyful games they would be playing otherwise

As far as my understanding, being spiritual is very much associated with beliefs about the non-existing things. In plain terms "Superstitious"
