a little backstory for me.
I was a JW convert for just 11 years.
When I started to know TTATT(The Truth about the Truth), it took me a year to realize and convince myself that Christmas and Birthdays are NOT Evil.
Do not under estimate the power of Cults
l have researched this subject and come to the conclusion that no we didn't.what do others think?.
I have a christian relative of mine, who is highly educated, that doesn't believe the moon landings but in all honesty believes the Red sea parting, Jesus walking on water.....
Next time she brings up this subject, I think I should involve more deeply with this.

what does anyone think of the crisis of conscience book?

Great book for any JWs or potential converts (Who are bold enough to read it). Very interesting and mature all along. I feel the author Ray Franz provided 100% transparency about the inner workings of the WT, during that time.
I bought this book twice as my JW wife trashed the first one and reported to the elders about it, who came on an interrogation visit, where I confessed reading it
The Next time I bought it, I made a deal with my wife that if this book stays in the house, then the WT Publications would stay. Deal done. And here I am as a Happy and Free Atheist.
ct russell said the dead would be resurrected to heaven from 1874-1881.. then the judge decided that it was not 1874/5 for the return of christ but 1914, so moving the heavenly resurrection forward to be from 1914-1918.. in truth nobody knows when it happens or happened.
just because the watchtower leadership says something in the printed word doesn't mean that it is true.

Would his remains be still in or Disappeared as in "Jesus Resurrection" style. Just Curious.

solomon in 2 chronicles spoke to thousands maybe millions, so how the hell did folks a mile away hear..you need a sound system for 200 folks in a close building in the kh.... moses, solomon and others had a great set of vocal cords.....

a 'concerned' jw in my congregation rang me earlier and said she's noticed my daughter sits miserable at the meetings and said she's a right miserable girl in general.
i said she's happy and hyper when she's not at the meetings they're just really boring and she doesn't want to be there.
apparently i'm a bad parent coz she feels that way.
When Brother A annoyed me like this , for putting in less hours in FS, I sarcastically said "Look Brother A, I am sinful and imperfect as the Bible says and cant be as perfect and righteous as You"
He got the message and was a little hurt too. I didn't care.

When a snake and a Donkey could speak, why cant Moses and Solomon Speak to the entire assembly of Israel ? Have faith !!
