OneEyedJoe has very good points
Reassure your parents that your love for them would remain as ever.
Make them realize that serving an Organization doesn't mean that you are faithful to your parents. It takes time but would work. My Experience.
when parents say all the things we've done for you and your not doing anything for us in return like going to meetings, witnessing, answering up etc... how do you respond to parents?.

hi guys.
sooner or later we're going to get a jw knocking on our door.
just like when we were jw's doing the knocking, it's good to have a question prepared to get them thinking about their own beliefs.
Do you 100% believe everything written in the Bible and 100% believe what the WT teaches you ?

some things i just didnt notice at the time which now seem so obvious:.
the bible tells us that the end will come like a thief in the night, when we least expect it.
(matthew 24:44).
Some Things Just Dont Add Up, How Did We Miss This???
Talking Snake/Donkey, Samson had his life in his Hair, Killed 1000 people with the Jawbone of an Ass, Tied 150 pairs of foxes to use as blazing missiles, Jacobs cloning of sheeps...
Oh what a fun it is, to read the Bible
what statement to the elders would get you disfelloshipped fastest?
saying.... a) that you don't believe in god anymore.
or saying ... b) that you don't believe that the governing body is god's canal and mouthpiece anymore.. what opinion is most serious in there eyes?
In my experience, confessing that you don't believe in the GB infuriates the JWs much than telling them that you don't believe in God.
revision date: 8/17.
the talk outline “jesus christ—earth’s new ruler” has been discontinued and should no longer be used.
it has been replaced by “who really is jesus christ?”note: this is the special public talk outline for 2018. the talk will be given in most congregations the week of monday, march 19, 2018.. .
Who really is Jesus Christ.
Probably a middle east rebel, who may have died pathetically in the hands of Romans and upon whom Myths were built.
2 earthquakes in less than a month.... witnesses are going to have a field day with this... bounce back from that decline.....
And the Bible states that Earthquakes are a sign of the last days, whereas in fact earthquakes are common Occurrence, since the Earth Existed.
Questions to ask a JW:
Why do earthquakes happen. Faulty design ?
A car company warns that its cars would fail and end up in disasters. Is that something proud to proclaim ? Similarly, JWs proudly proclaim that their GOD who created the earth warned of Earthquakes, in the last days. Isnt that a Shame on that God who created the earth ?
one’s mindset and its conditioning pursue what one believes to be the “truth” which it says ‘i can perceive with my senses.
this makes possible for the life to be perceived in many different ways.
imagine all were born blind.
"Only we have the truth" is as Arrogant and ignorant as "I am the only righteous person"
what happened after jesus zoomed up into the sky?for a while, he was expected to return rather quickly.in the meantime, there was the “great commission” and evangelism to be tended to.. the jesus believers were meeting in people's homes.
members of that community would take turns using private homes to gather.
thus, they went house to house.. these footstep tracers of jesus (they called themselves akolouthontes "followers" or some called themselves mathetai or "learners.
Jesus got spoiled with the luxuries of heaven and is not coming back as promised.
for those of you that can remember.... did you really believe that armageddon was going to come in 1975?
i was a child of the 60s, in my teens in the 70s and can honestly say that i never bought into it.
i saw brothers and sisters selling their homes and moving into rented property.
During 1975, I was a School going happy kid raised by loving protestant parents and never even heard about this JW cult during that time. Lucky me !!
