Revelation 8:8 Is a comet / asteroid heading here soon?
by FuzzyPaul ini have read a lot and watched some you-tube videos (some by marginally lunatic fringe christians - not necessarily invalidating) searching for asteroid september 2015 or comet september 2015.. there is some biblical evidence that, if one doesn't spiritualize / make literally invalid by symbolic exercise, that at the time of the end of the age there will be a uniquely severe, single great earthquake (isaiah 29:6, zecharia 4:7, haggia 2:6, revelation 6:12, revelation 16:18) and destructive objects described as hail, mountains falling from the sky, stars falling onto earth.
i note that ancients would not recognize the vastness of outer space and meteroids, asteroids, comets, planets being what we know them as.. there is also the exact symbol of "then the second angel blew his trumpet, and a great mountain of fire was thrown into the sea.
one-third of the water in the sea became blood, one-third of all things living in the sea died, and one-third of all the ships on the sea were destroyed.

Over the 4.5 billions years, Earth was bombarded by millions of object, and large of them hitting Earth whipped out significant portion of population. Yucatan was hit by large asteroid 65 millions years ago which is known Cretaceous–Tertiary (K–T) extinction. Canada (Manicouagan crater), Ukraine (Obolon crater), or Chesapeake crater are reminder of many others that hit this planet over time. Chesapeake crater probably whipped out ozone layer for 10,000 years after its impact 35 million years ago. Impacts will happen in the future, and will have an effect on the future of the life on this planet. -

I am not sure what is the solution for ME conflict, but one resolution would be independent Kurdistant. This would create a stable country that could be ally to the West if the West would armed it and recognize it internationally. Turkey today is not the same country that was in 1952 when it joined NATO. It is a country that became more islamized and radicalized, and many media actually believe it is the main problem maker in wider region and peace in ME. Sooner the West realize it, the better approach it could use.
The next step would be abandoning artificial boundaries created by colonial powers and let population in IQ, Syria decide which statehood they want to belong. It would probably mean division of Iraq and Syria. I do not see how Russian involvement would improve anything. Russia is worried because thousands of its citizens joined ISIS. Russia has large Muslim population (Tatarstan, Dagestan, Chechnya, Kalmyk, ...), and own Islamic insurgency in Caucasus. While fighting cannot be stopped at present time, it is possible the long war will totally exhaust ISIS. The biggest mistake would be getting Israel involved and spread the war father around ME like into Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

I said it last week in this thread that she will end up in jail. She is breaking the law by disobeying court, and she will stay there for some time. It is her choice. She could resign her 80K job that she got through nepotism of her mother, but she decided to play a fake Christian hero instead an elected official that must uphold county, state, and federal law. She cannot decide on her own, who will get marriage license and who not based on her religious conviction. -

Largest amount of refugees since WW2 in Europe
by Powermetal4ever inso i had a discussion with my mother about this, and she claims that because of this that: "we are surely living in the last days right now" while i must admit myself that the situation seem chaotic, i don't want to believe that it is the last days.
so question is, how do i face an opinion like that?

Joke from Czech media:
First school day in Bavarian class:
"Mustafa El Ekh Zeri."
"Hier."
"Mohammed End Ahrha."
"Hier."
"Mi Cha Elma Yer."
Quiet
"Mi Cha Elma Yer."
Nobody is answering
"One more time – Mi Cha Elma Yer!"
At the last desk in the back a small blond boy rises his hand
"It could be me, but you need to read it as Michael Mayer."

Vienna is far more diverse than Munich. I go to both cities regularly and Vienna looked like Teheran already in the 1980's. My aunt and grandaunt used to live in downtown of Vienna since WWI and even back then many areas of the city were extremely dirty with the refugees. West Bahnhof or Sudbahnhof looked far worse than train station in Russia or Ukraine. Last time I was in the area to refresh memories of my deceased relative, I got extremely unease feeling of general lack of safety. Some Kosovar Albanians were chasing a guy through the streets not far from Hofburg castle, empty stores fronts, and streets abandoned by 6 pm.
Austria is generally a crap country with nice scenery. Moment you take a train from Germany to Salzburg and than continue to Linz, you start to get delays. Cities in Lower Austria look as run down and impoverished as the cities in Moravia in the Czech Republic or western Slovakia. At least these two countries were under Soviets until 1989, while Austria kicked Red Army in 1955, but has very little to show for. Refugees that are pouring from Hungary do not want to stay in Austria, but go to Germany. Austria has much harder immigration and residency requirements than Germany, and currently its economy is in long stagnation since 2008 (one of the lowest economic growth recorded in old EU). Austria has a share of populist like deceased Heider, they play on both sides, to demonize East Europes and refugees, and Germany, but also maintain a face that they will welcome everyone. Any case, Austria often on its own closed borders with Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Slovenia in past 25 years and we in the Czech Republic calling it Austrian farmers showing their farm vehicles and equipment, because this is one way they do it.
Lastly, all Central Europe is worried that Germany will eventually close borders and will expel refugees eastwards as they had done with Vietnamese community in East Germany. Nobody, and I mean no politician in Visegrad group, Balkans, Baltic states trust any word that comes from German official mouth. Merkel is as much trustworthy as Putin. Dealing with tens of thousand people who do not want to stay in Central-East Europe would be very problematic.

Thewonderofyou, stop the lying German-crap propaganda and total crap by demonizing Eastern European people. You know shit about them.
Sweden, Germany, Benelux, Austria, France, italy,, want a joint solution with a apportionment, but the easter- EU countries, poland, chzecz, slovak, hungary dont want it yet., because they have not experience with integration, or with muslim faith and of course not the financel strength. So a joint solution will be have to achieved, if not all 1- 7 Millionn awaited refugees come to germany.
First of all, every country has the right to decide what population should settle in. Germany does not allows Romanian and Bulgarians, member of EU, to work freely there. They closed their labor market for ENTIRE Eastern EU members till 2011. We there do not give a rat if 80 millions of Pakistani, Syrians, Malians, and Somali move to Germany. It is not our problem. Additionally, WTF you talking about muslim faith? Do you realize that Slavic Bosnia is muslim? That there is a huge muslim population in the Balkans? Do you even know that Czech Republic or Slovenia are economically far more advanced that old EU countries like Portugal and Greece, and have a quality of life ahead of UK? Do you even bothered to find out that Poland accepted 400,000 refugees from Ukraine, and tens of thousands are living in the Czech Republic? Or do you know that Vietnamese are second largest ethnic group in the Czech Republic with community of 70,000? So keep the anti-Eastern European propaganda on .at or .de.

Many in EU fail to see that the refugees are illegal immigrants and they are braking law by entering illegally into EU. There is nothing wrong for foreigner to move to different country, but it needs to be done by accordingly immigration laws in each country. What is happening in places like Hungary is nothing more than invasion. International trains from Hungary were cancelled to Slovakia, Germany, Czech Republic and Austria. Thousands of refugees were vandalizing Budapest-Keleti train station and demanded to go to Germany. Hungarian government trying to get rid off them got one train running toward Vienna. When the refugees find out that it will not continue beyond Austria to Germany, they started rioting on railway line outside Sopron. It is expected the mass of thousands of people will move northwest by this weekend where situation in Hungary will be repeated in Slovakia. Another 250,000 are on the way between Greece and Serbia. This is a huge number and I would not be suprised that eventually armed forced would be called in to deal with the situation.

"Sorry, but marriage is for a man and a woman. Go back to your domestic partnerships"
You do not decide it what relationship of two adults should be called.
"Rightly so, many in America see the supreme court ruling as being an illegal ruling.... a new president may force the supreme court stop making politically influenced decisions that have little constitutional basis"
What ever can define >>many<< is irrelevant to SCOTUS, which does not determine its ruling. You also seem clueless how SCOTUS work. At the time of the gay marriage ruling, it was already legal in majority states, and some states like ME implemented gay marriage by popular vote. U.S. president cannot force SCOTUS making decision, and USA is not single party or one man dictatorship.

Truthseeker, these refugees came to EU to milk welfare benefits and free ride, and significant majority of them will never, never work. They want to go to the richest country that provides the highest allowance and benefits, and they are not happy to stay in middle income, but safe countries. In the Czech Republic, refugees destroyed the centers twice and threatened it to set it on fire, demanded more allowances, mobile phones, better cloths, and immediate free transfer to German borders. Similar riot happened in Slovakia, and currently Hungary. Czech Republic had already accepted 60,000 refugees from war-torn Ukraine since spring 2014, and they do not cause any problem. However, this horde is a clearly threat to national security and welfare of the European community.
Problem has increased when Germany started to invite them, but wants rest of Europe to share the cost. Merkel is bullying UK, Czech, Republic, and Poland; but Germany cannot boss anyone on countries how to run their immigration policy. German is overstepping authority or treaties defined by EU. Neither country is using Euro, and Germany cannot boss them around. Refugees are spilling from Hungary (currently at the rate 200 per day) and this will destabilize any country.
The refugee crisis should had been stopped outside EU borders and with expelling Greece from Schengen. Only 40% of the refugees are Syrians. While certain groups certainly deserve asylum and protections, all immigration needs to be done legal way by securing proper immigration documents and permit. Every country has the right to choose and reject who can settle in their country. USA would not tolerate it either. Wealthy ME countries could definitely share the burden with the refugees as well.

My guess, she would be sent to jail. Federal justice could try to make example of her case, and really sent her for some time to serve for contempt of court. Even in jail she can be still be county official, because KY has specific proceeding to remove someone from the office. Even fines would do nothing, because all the bills will be funded and paid by her supporters. Even KY state legislators are supporting her.
I do not hate the woman either, but she put her face into the public spot and her personal life with it. She does not have a life in order, yet she is deciding from her religious conviction what two adults should do. This is illegal and considering her private life, also hypocritical.
