  A farewell to Barney (onacruse)

  to those who missed it or for that matter, even care, craig aka barney fife,onacruse,mr.

  biker chick,the terminator and bald headed wookie (my favorite), is taking a very much needed break from this board.

  he's made it sound like he is leaving forever, if so i'll be taking bets on this one and might even give some odds.

  How long for pork?

  i need to know how long i am supposed to bake pork chops.... i know they are better fried, but i dont want the kids to have all that gease... .

  i need to have it ready by 445 today, thats when the kids get home from school...

  SS's recipe is good too. I have them that way once in a while. If you want them fool-proof, that's the way to go. You just sear and cook in the mushroom soup. It tastes good, but all that grease (that makes it good) is in that mushroom soup.

  The top part. That's the broiler. You want it about 10 to 15 cms away, or a little more won't hurt it. Not too close.

  Wait till they're looking cooked on the top, then turn them. Don't overcook them.

  Try broiling them. Much better!

  Put dry mustard on them, season salt, pepper, and a touch of chilli powder(touch!). I usually put on the smallest drop of oil you can imagine per side, and make it into a paste. Turn them once.

  How True Are The Testimonies On This Board.?

  its easy to belive what we read and accept as truth.when my wife came to the computer i left on the screen a post on what happend at bethel (not intentionally) ..she read it and said i dont belive it?

  i would like to belive what i read on this board is 100 % true.

  iam grateful for the truth on the u:n and more and more stuff that blows my mind away.and also personal stories that have had a profound effect on me.. sadly iam certain with-out doubt that the majority of exsperinences on this board are true because no matter how sincere a person is when you allow people to have a higher legal position in the land they live in than the law of the land they live in( no matter how bad or corrupt the society of the land we live in.

  I don't think many are made up.

  I think that some are exaggerated. Even exaggerated (sp), the stories do not bode well for the 'organization', nor does it mean that the underlying truth is there.

  What people fail to realize is that there's two sides to every story. But I don't think this is a place for trial by judge or jury. Nor would I be interested in any such proceedings. Just use common sense; if someone does not seem too stable, and they're story seems bizarre, then take it or leave it. Any idiot can put up a website and say whatever they want; it doesn't mean that it's true. Take strange ppl like Sword Of Jah... sound stable to you? Or JC Cannon; a person who believes they are the second coming of jesus christ (*cough*).

  with more than half of the world's population who never saw one jw at their door or ever heard about the jw's, i wonder how they will know that god is jehovah if ever armageddon happens one day?

  They sure do like those vengence passages, NO? It's like they're just waiting for 'Jehovah' to kill. Like they'relickiing they're chops, so to speak.

  If the big A happened, I would seriously question weather it was the watchtower god in the first place. Not that I believe in the bible or any of that nonsense. The real question is would people know that it was 'Jehovah'? The answer is a resounding NO.

  They hyped up the big "A" in they're publications, yet, strangely, millions upon millions have not heard of this high-control religious group, no more than other strange and bizarre cults of the world.

  woo hoo....JW Mom is coming to my wedding!

  ....my whacked out jw hardliner mom just informed me this morning that she and my entire jw family will be coming to my wedding on oct. 1st.

  this has come totally out of the blue as previous to today she did not give any indication of caring one way or the other whether i got married or not, and had said to me a couple of times "oh, i'll just stay and watch over the food.

  i think my more liberal jw sister has managed to talk some sense into her at last.

  I think if it was past the due date, tell her that only she is welcome, as there is not enough room. Don't let her control you; she'll probably not come at the last minute, to save her (cough) spirituality.

  My new fine art series (for mature art lover eyes only)

  i thought i might post a link to a test web page i have thrown up on my unfinished (no time to finish it) web site.

  some of the old timers on the board have seen some of my commercial work that i have posted from time to time (the 3d image of caged headed watchtower robots) and a very few have seen some of my fine art pieces that have been either published or seen at my home.

  this temporary web page is up for a few friends to see the start of this new series and for a few collectors of my art who wanted to see that i am doing fine art again (after an 8 year layoff) so they can get the hell off my back.. before clicking on the link please understand that the first pieces of this new series, that i have put five examples up of, are nudes.
