  I remember they had this booklet that 'explained' the governing body, how it worked, yada yada yada... and it was important for us to read and understand it.

  Unfortunately it was all half-truths and bullshit.

  What is the "Sacred Secret"?

  it's been about four years since i attended the kh, and i'm amazed to realize just how many of the doctrines i have forgotten.. i don't have the literature at my disposal anymore (or maybe i'm just too lazy), and the phrase "sacred secret" just popped into my head yesterday.

  wasn't it one of the j-dub teachings of some sort?

  (i remember asking my mom when i was a little girl, and i seems to me that she had trouble explaining it herself.).

  i went to get my hair done and my beautician happens to be a dub.

  she has known me and my family for a long time and she has an idea that im "inactive" but thankfully she hasnt been really nosy otherwise i would take my business elsewhere.

  anyway, i've long since faded and when i do go to get my hair done i manage to avoid all "jehoober" related conversation and have so far been successful.

  Oooooh, I just hate how they talk to you sometimes too! One time, a long long time ago, a buddy of mine who is a witness and myself, a never go to a meeting bastard, faded 5 years... bla bla bla... gets married in our town. It was no big deal that I wasn't invited, because I barley knew him; never mind that I had a dreaded goatee.

  Well, I'm working and this one buddy of mine's mother comes up to me and starts asking me "probing" questions..... "are you still in 'the trooth'" Do you still believe that it's 'the troouth'"???...

  I mean please ef-off, LOL!

  I'm going back to my hometown this weekend where I was a dub.... if I saw a dub and they started talking to me, I think I would just burst out laughing.... doodle-v, I don't know how you lasted so long, LOL!

  1- jesus started one true christian religion.

  after the christian arrangement had been established for some time, the apostle paul under inspiration further showed at ephesians 4:4, 5 that there must be just one body, or group, of true worshipers of god.

  The way that you read your bible verses is just how they taught us, over and over again. My point being listening to Theocrat is like listening to a talk. It just strikes me as weird.

  I hope that you still keep posting here, Theocrat. We can have some very interesting discussions.
