Oh boo hoo. At the most only a couple statments in this thread could be taken as religious discrimination hating on Muslims. It's mainly about being tired of catering to or pandering to these fanatics even when they insult you in your own home.

i saw an online post with pictures of all the witnessing carts all around the 9/11 site during the anniversary of the tragedy.... im appalled at how opportunistic they are, and how they prey on people in a mourning and vulnerable state!.

I too wonder where these people get that the USA is just going to roll over and let someone like China assume world supremacy. At the most the US will be a major player in a world government. Too say the US is going to fade away and China will become top dog is crazy talk. China has been allowed by the powers that be to get their economy to the point it is now. A world where the US/British alliance is not a major player is not going to happen. What has China done that would make it a world power to be feared? China would be foolish to challange an armed to the teeth, battle tested USA. Even if you are the guy with the most money in the bar.....you don't go picking a fight with the biggest, strongest, meanest, multiple gun packing guy in the bar.

The OP never gave any indication that it was about religion. It was about his being offended that his GF was disrespected in his own house. If the Muslim man had the decency to explain why he was not going to shake her hand, then we probably wouldn't even have a thread there. That's probably all it would have taken. If a Muslim man doing business with Western people in a Western country doesn't realize that he probably needs to explain why he refuses to shake a Western woman's hand, then he deserves the consequences of Western people being offended by his behavior.

The Ukraine was on its way to peacefully solving its internal problems - as Europe proposed - until the US got involved (remember the US ambassador who said "F**k the EU"?)

You are completely wrong on this. It has nothing to do with religious discrimination. It's about common good manners and respect. HIS family custom is that when someone enters HIS home, HIS family extends a warm greeting involving a handshake. The asshole Muslim never even had the common decency to explain his religious position. He had to have another woman explain his position. Why can he not shake a woman's hand, but allow a woman to speak for him about his Muslim beliefs? The Muslim showed no respect whatsoever!
You were way off to bring Jew or Black into this. Neither of those two groups believe all Western people are evil Satan, and want them all to either convert to Islam or die. My girlfriend said that when she greeted them the Musilm man refused to shake her hand. The young lady explained that he could not do so due to his faith.
