once a young brother gave a talk on some character in the bible who was known as a mighty hunter in opposition to god. he kept saying a mighty humper... stuttered turned beet red and put his head down and tried to go on . i kept sputtering and laughing trying to picture what a mighty humping would look like and because the phrase was constantly repeated throughout his talk.

by gitasatsangha inshare one of the odder/funnier talks you've heard (where the manuscript went out the window, along with any degree of decorum, preferably).
one time a brother had a 15 minute part and he spoke very calmly and relaxed.
he smiled all the time, but the part seemed aimless.

serial killer or some brainwashed mental patient who sits in a corner
drooling rocking back and forth strangely comforted by that eerie strange
melodie. kinda like sweeney todd or the phantom of the opera.

i had this same type of dicussion on my study, we were talking about king david gods annointed over isreal his chosen people as he named them (not calling them jws)
my teacher kept saying i will be safe in gods organization and i said like those people gods angel killed , wiped out by streatching his hand out killing innocent women , men , children because of something david did? he laid them out like they were nothing to him.
Anyhow in the end didnt jesus say he would not be found in temples and we would not need to be be taught by anyone that true followers know the way by nature?

also, don't you think it directly interferes with your relationship to jehovah to blatantly disregard counsel given that "bad associations spoil useful habits"?
also, the society recommends that you shun us, so why aren't you?

Absent minded at the meetings
by JH inwhat are the weirdest things you done during a meeting or at an assembly?.
i had a 4 day district assembly at olympic stadium in montreal a few years ago, and i found the meeting so dull that i left and took the subway which passes below the stadium and i went down town montreal all day.
i came back by the subway for the end of the assembly, just in time to say amen.
