  JW making music videos now?

  i'm not sure if this is new since it is hard to keep up with the ever changing jw.

  it is morphing so much.

  i went to jw.org tv video for november and around 53 or 54 minutes into the broadcast the gb guy introduce a music video called "we won't forget you".

  this is the scuttlebutt in one of the "bethel congregations" by us.. no details as to exactly what this "faith-testing" announcement might be.. anyone else hear any of this pre-zone visit hype?.

  with the recent case of the watchtower hierarchy defying the court to either produce documents relating to child sex abuse claims within their organisation, and also refusing to produce a governing member to appear in court to answer questions , not only shows their arrogance and defiance of the law , they also show their contempt of the judicial system of the usa .. arent they supposed to be obeying the bible injunction ?

  " pay back ceasers things to ceaser ?".

  "when you are hailed before the courts , i will put words in your mouth ?".

  Even if the WTS wins its appeals, it loses

  the thought occurs to me that even if the wts wins its appeals, it loses.. suppose that conti, lopez, the other 8 cases tied to campos, and even dozens more cases to come are overturned on appeal.. (1) the wts will have built a reputation of secrecy & mishandling.

  a lone crackpot or 2 might file a case against a big corporation in hopes of getting something out of a settlement, but if there are dozens & dozens of litigants, most of whom prefer to go to court to air the "dirty laundry" instead of seeking a settlement, what does that say?.

  (2) it's not exactly an appealing message for the wts to say "ha ha!

The average JW does not keep up with current events and only glances at CNN or network news to check for a newsflash saying: "Breaking news from Rome, blue-helmeted troops move on the Vatican." Aside from that, they are oblivious.

  Find What Your Social Status Was in the Congregation

  ever notice how the "happiest people on earth" are also the most class-oriented?

  the social structure in the congregation is more complex than the blueprints of a nuclear warhead, but just so that you "remember your place", see if you can find where your niche was/is:.

  1. at the top of the social order of things within the congregation is of course, the presiding overseer and his family.

  Spot on analysis. Although I did see a case where a born-in #1 completed a University degree with the first few years completed at an out of state University. This young man's father, a prominent and wealthy long-time elder saw to it that his son was quickly appointed MS. Clearly an example of #1 trumping automatic demotion to #8.
