  Well the demise of the Gb doesn't cover all the remnant class so it won't mean much, the scripture you're referring to said something to the affect that the tribulation will be cut short for the sake of the few remaing. So it also indicated that some of the remnant class would in fact make it past the tribulation and possibly into the New World. (If my memory serves me correctly).

  quite an interesting (and sad) story.

  in my opinion, the victim's mom echoes the thoughts of many a jw, that being this: that jws are the only ones who know how to cope with tragedy.

  what she says, in effect, is: "unless one is a jw, they would kill themselves over this.

  It's so sad when innocent people are killed or mamed, because of someone elses rage.

  I feel for the parents of the young man killed. And it is true, that hope in the ressurection can and does give people strength, and to me that's a good thing.

  But many people that don't hold that same hope find other ways of dealing with such tragedy, and wouldn't commit suicide, it was a very generalised statement the mother made, and one obviously based on her grief, maybe too she felt it was a good opportunity for a witness, and i'm sure her congo will express as much to her.

  lately is observed some small growth in wts troops.

  any idea what is causing it?

  i've heard that an age of baptized new members has dropped and 9/11 makes an impact.

  in the past, i have told my friends that if i were not in the industry in which i am employed today, i would have been an attorney.

  to me, law has always been an intriguing area to be involved in.

  not only does researching information that pertains to personal matters teach you the basics on how to conduct yourself in court and the due process of what is involved, you also learn many various laws that may have been totally foreign to you beforehand.. many times on this site and on other personal websites across the globe, religious entities, or publishing corporations, have been a deciding factor in what is and what is not posted, copied, and presented.

  Just look at the effort expended in keeping the Flock book off of the web. Jail time is even a possibility.

  I had it in mind to start posting some of the flock book on here so ppl could see Elders instructions on how to go about handling matters, are you saying I could get in trouble for that? And where is that information available?
