does anyone know of where i can get my hands on a copy of the 2007 tms documents.
looks like alot of jw's are freakin out about posting that information online this year.
not a big deal, but well you know how it goes...
You're right JWFacts. And their reason for not wanting us to use these aids is that if we do so we won't remember the points that are made in the assignments. Why should witnesses be concerned about remembering the points in any assigment, as in all probability they will change in a year or two!

OnTheWayOut and Zuko:
Thank you so much for emailing me the information regarding the 2007 TMS. It is appreciated.
I will never understand why the GB thinks that we have time to do all that is expected of us as elders and publishers and not be able to utilize some help. Just because they are unfettered with children, wives and jobs and have lots of time for the things they want to do, it seems that their world view is limited and they fail to empathize with the rest of us.
this was just posted on an aol jw board:.
jehovah and jesus are really reaching out for those sighing and groaning over the detestable things happening in the earth.. .
thought you might want to hear some interesting news.. .
Absolutely! Positively! NOT TRUE!
That Elders are appointed by Jehovah's Holy Spirit.
But before they are appointed, Jehovah's checks his records to make sure that they have put in enough Field Service hours.
your absolute favorite song of all time.

january 15th watchtower 2007 'remaining steadfast when a child rebels'.
'when discipline is severe'.
'if your child is unrepentant and is a baptized christian, he may receive the strongest form of discipline - being disfellowhipped from the congregation.
If the child is a minor and is living at home, you will naturally continue to take care of his physical needs.
Actually, this is frightening. What about the child's emotional needs? It is not enough to just feed and clothe a child. A childs needs to feel that he/she has self-worth and that he is loved for being just who he is.
Suppose the child is in his teens and is old enough to make up his own mind about the religion he follows? He does not have to be a fornicator, or a drunkard, etc., etc. Is he still to be treated so poorly by his parents? This is one of the sickest articles I have ever seen!
at the service meeting tonight the service overseer announced that the british bethel had received 50 requests for bible studies since the campaign.
this surprised me, though i suppose it's not really a huge amount, i wouldn't have expected that many.
also, our cong has run out of tracts, and we're only half way through the campaign, with lots of territory still to cover.

This might actually be true because we have also gotten notices that because of the tract people were interested in a bible study.
However, when calling on these people you immediately realize that many of these people are elderly, lonely and just want someone to talk to. They sent in the coupon mainly because it said that they would receive a weekly bible study and it was FREE. One woman wanted us to come and conduct her study only on Friday at 8:30. This is when her daughter left her to go shopping and she did not want to be alone at that time.
I have not met one person who sent in the request who was, should I say "normal"? I hope you know what I mean by that and just wanted to make it clear that these people all had some agenda in requesting the visit. Not to mention the ones that were clearly "abnormal" or strung out on drugs or alcohol.
