  Our Women are spoiled ... and it's our fault!

  here in america we had the most spoiled females on the planet!

  american women run the show, guys we are toast!

  and i know who to blame!

  Well Mav, at least you know who is to blame.

  I was never spoiled. I started helping pay the house payment as a teen. I began helping with the younger siblings at 11. I learned how to cook a roast or a chicken in elementary school and I never had to go to Europe to do so.

  Mav, you're a good guy but, you need to let her learn about the hardships of life. No matter how much it pains you or her and, it will hurt you more than her, you do. I used to curse my parents and promise to never speak to them again but, I learned a hell of alot from them. Don't coddle your daughter. You'll hurt her in the long run if you do.

  Were you raised as a dub or did you convert?

  i was a catholic all my life then in my early 30s i got baptized as a jw.

  a friend of mine when in her 20s became a dub.

  she always talked to me about the borg and troof and i listened.

  Ha! I was a born and raised 4th generation dubbie. Sick eh? I slowly started to fade when I was 19. The funniest part is that all of my siblings and cousins did the same. It will be unlikely that a 5th generation will emerge in my family. Yay!

  I'm happy that LOTR won so many awards cause I'm a sci fi/fantasy dork and the LOTR trilogy was great. I didn't watch it much though. I was too busy watching my Wings kick butt.

  since some of you inquired... i have just come home from the hospital the dr said "you are a tough old bird -after he saw the xrays.

  he knew i suffer a lot of pain anyway.

  Being related to those already in positions of authority was the easiest way in most of the congregations I attended. Almost all of the men in my family were elders, ms's and my Grandfather was the PO. I'd say nepotism played a big role.

  Which character do you indentify with on TV shows.S&City, Soprano's etc.?

  so ladies,,,,speaking of sex and the city,,,,at the end of the show,as we have watched the characters evolve ,which one do you indentify most with?

  if not that show what about another character on another show?.

  for the men, how about you,,,,,,,,what show character do you identify with,,,,,maybe someone off of the soprano's , seinfield, wings, cheers, queer as folk, etc.

  Mouthy, you are not like Edith Bunker. You have a much more refined voice and manner. You're also much prettier.

  I relate to Phoebe from "Friends" too much for my liking. I even know most of the words to "Smelly Cat".
