As I'm not DA/DF yet. Out of all the witnesses that i mentioned this to i couldn't find one who said " I feel sorry for those victims and I hope they get the help and closure they deserve. I don't think the above person realizes that a few years ago with the threat of been disfellowshipped for slander made the reporting of sex abuse to the authorities almost impossible. I also don't think he/she realizes if they go around voicing this opinion they will very quickly find out what we openly discuss here.

With out a doubt I think more are leaving than coming in. Especially quality converts who will be able to pass it onto the next generation. At the time I left in a cong of around 100 pubs. 6 left and although not DFed and I would say they will never return. There were also 3 others disfellowshiped around the same time. I have since learned that there are a further 3 that are now also inactive since my exit. That's 12% loss in less than 3-4 years. The fact that sights like these are growing would suggest that there is a growing discord amongst the R&F in the organisation. I think it was a good move on WTBTS to have all the KHs titles in their name in case of such an event. -

Honestly I think this is a step in the right direction for them. The issues with growth in the west is been able to retain and revive it's existing membership. I believe this is far more cost effective and easier than knocking on doors trying to get a new convert. Good on you watchtower for at least recognizing the problem and trying to do something about it. -
