  i have seen my fair share of adult movies and i must say, people will do a lot on camera for money.

  i have seen woman degrade themselves to levels that i can not believe.

  nothing is left private and no dignity remains.

  Actually, they say a lot of female porn stars come from conservative religious backgrounds. They get into porn as a way of expressing freedom with their body, when they were told to be ashamed of themselves for so many years. What is the site address with your information? (Just Kidding)

  Also, I have heard many times that porn stars say it is a lot of work. At first I would laugh too, but then I thought about the mental aspect of sex. Alone, it is energetic and exciting. In front of tons of people and cameras, I could see some mental problems and fatigue of the mind. Plus, they say it is long days and often angel changes that delay things. It might only be a 10-15 minute section of a movie, but it can take six hours to shot. Comparing that to the average sex time in your private life, and you see why people might say "it is hard work" (No pun intended!).

  I am not so much wondered about just sex on camera, but the extreme porn has taken. Back in the 80's porn was just normal stuff with close ups. Now, they have a heavy focus on getting woman to do EXTREME things that most couples would never even consider. Yet they do it with dozens of men, sometimes at one time. Is the money good enough to degrade yourself like that?

  Is this protest the terrorist attack we were warned about? After all, it is happening in several key cities. It is disrupting traffic. It is all over the media. Perhaps this is it then, we are seeing the terrorist attack right there with the protestors.

  Bush scares liberals, because he is exposing their messes. Personally, I would take a Republican as President any day over a Democrat. Why? Well let me see .... Clinton, (Sex, Sex, Scandal), .... Carter (Mess, Mess, Nothing Done.) .... Johnson (Vietnam, Vietnam, Scandal) .... JFK (Sex, Sex, Scandal). Seems that the batch of Democrats in my life have left an interesting impression.

  Personally, I would pay the neighbor kid $10 to scoop it all up and throw it in the trash. Yet, if I was loaded I might go around and offer a million dollars to people to do odd things. Just to satisfy some curiosity as to what people will do far large sums of money. You should go on FEAR FACTOR. They do things like what you mentioned.

  We have been worried about nuclear war for half a century now.

  Funny that you say that. As my Witness relative mentioned, "doesn't it scare you to know that N. Korea could hit us with one nuke on the west coast?" I responded, "Sure, but it sounds a lot better then the fear I grew up with. Which was that the USSR would hit the whole nation with about a 1000 nukes everywhere." If we have only one nuke that can hit us now, and had a 1000 a few decades back. Well that sounds like progress.

  I have seen my fair share of adult movies and I must say, people will do a lot on camera for money. I have seen woman degrade themselves to levels that I can not believe. Nothing is left private and no dignity remains. Yet when they are asked, "why would you do such a thing?" They answer, "for the money, the money is great." Which in some cases is true. On a recent news magazine show they said a high demand porn star can make $10,000 - $30,000 per month, with the top end stars making $50,000 per picture. So they get their fancy car, maybe a nice home and more then not, expensive drugs. Is it worth it though? I have to wonder, will these woman who stared in such high class movies as some of the modern porn's, feel good about themselves in fifty years. Will the highlights of their life be about the wealth or the regret? I know the porn idea is extreme and a lot of other people have done other things for money. Some have posed for Playboy, which is not really extreme at all. Yet you are still exposing yourself to millions of strangers.

  Seriously though, would you do a porn movie or pose naked for a magazine? If yes, how much money would you want? If no, how much money would it take to change your mind?

  our hall has 3 sections of seating, we always sat in the left section all the way in the back if possible heh.

  it's funny: it seemed like all the foreign people, immigrants, etc, sat on the right side, all the "goody goods" sat in the middle, and all of the um "shady" people... all the people i would think would become defectors sat on the left.

  You know what I always find interesting about that scripture on war and famine. One, this last century was not the only one to see major wars and famine. Two, saying there would be war and famine is like saying there will be rain and mud puddles. If you have one, then you will have the other.

  So basically, that kind of vague prophesies could have fulfillment in about every century that has occurred from 1 AD -2003. We just find it important to this time, because we are living in this time. For some reason, what happened 600 years ago, does not bother us.

  The news was talking about war, the world was in turmoil, gas prices were high, the economy was weak and Witnesses were saying this is the end. It sounds like today, doesn't it? Well it isn't, it is actually what was happening in 1990 when the last Gulf War happened. I was in a congregation that was saying, "it could happen any day now." I went to a assembly and people were walking around with big smiles, thinking this was it. We were calling our inactive relatives and telling them to return to the meetings, the end is in site. We had higher attendance then normal, which meant we had 10 people at the book study and not 6. Basically, we thought this was a sign of the end. Yet what happened?

  Well the 90's started, the 90's ended and look where we are today. We are at the beginning of another war and sure enough the Witnesses are doing and saying the same thing. This is their pattern. If trouble happens in the world, they sit there hoping this is the final battle. They want this to be the end! So they mention it, use it to scare people and they preach it door-to-door. Two years later, they forget about it and move onto something else.

  So if any are out there and find themselves buying into this CRAP of thinking this is a sign of the end and getting a little scared with modern events. Don't feel bad, ten years ago there were people doing the same thing as you. Who knows, but ten years from now there might be someone doing the same with the next major event.

  Just thought I would mention this, as I had a conversation with a Witnesses recently and their words sounded just like it was 1990 all over again.

  ... I figure though, if anything does happen. I will just do a death bed repentance, pray to Jesus, Jehovah and even hold a book of Mormons for good measure, and slide in under the wire. Otherwise, I am still holding to the idea that the Witnesses are full of it.
