IN LOVE & CONFUSED
by unique inhere is my dilemma - short and to the point, need advice.
i met a man several months ago who is jw and we hit it off from the first night we met - (met in lounge) - and then spoke to him on a few occasions.
he admitted to me the first night we went out that he was married, at first i wasn't sure if i should pursue this, then he just swept me off my feet.

20 hours of work about to turn to sawdust...
by FMZ inwell, i just finished building my first model airplane from scratch.
all in all, it has taken probably a little over 20 hours to construct, cover, and finish.
i have got all the rc gear in there, gas engine fitted, and it is ready to fly.. but... i'm scared!

i've enjoyed it so far, and am glad to see how respectful ray franz was in his writing, with no 'outright attacks' on the wtbts.. bull!

I wish that Ray had gone into more detail about his "private converstations" with people. Ed and his Spanish friends.
I would like to have known more in detail how these private conversations were affected after Carl Jonsson's treatise came to Bethal and then the personal thoughts of mind control that Ray had.
How did the converstations go etc. "Hey Ed, I've known you a long time. Guess what we're in a cult - let's go tell the Spanish folks?"

i know many here were raised dubs and forced to do things until old enough to stand up to their parents, not because of belief!
but i'm interested in knowing how many had some kind of belief in god that was later damaged or destroyed by the wts's teachings and/or treatment?.

I think I believe in God because of the optic nerve.
Beyond that I believe in family, baseball, hockey, football, friends and working around the house.

Thinking about going to the District Convention!
by Elsewhere inwith all the talk about how awful the convention is i am thinking about going this weekend in fort worth just for kicks and giggles... and to record the talks.
does anyone local to the dfw are have a digital recorder that can record up to eight hours of voice?
i'd like to try to avoid buying one.
