  Each day with JW boyfriend....

  is becoming more & more intolerable, this fool has now taken.

  to sleeping on the sofa and thinks he will be able to get a apartment.

  with horrible credit.. i am trying not to become bitter and mean but its very hard, to see a grown man whine about his "soul" and the more i think about it.

  After a four year commitment this guy should have at least proposed marriage. Then again, if he married you, a non JW, he'd be considered spiritually weak. Hey, my hats off to the guy, if he can be in the same place as you over night and not get involved in "the business" then he's a stronger guy than I. Not that I myself approve of fornication, but was guilty of it before my marriage (with my then JW wife too). Spiritually speaking, marriage is the answer, that and getting as far away from the JW's as possible.

  I like the calling the PO deal. It will force him to commit one way or the other.

  i have a friend in the national guard and he says hes thinking about converting but they dont belive in military but he needs the army to pay for college and has a 6 year commitment.

  what would happen?

  Actually, THOU SHALL NOT MURDER is the commandment, not "Thou shall not kill". Also, note that when the Prophet, John the Baptist, gave instructions to the soldiers it was not "Hey, get out of the military, cuz it's a sin" His instructions, from God, were "Don't be bullies and be content with your pay"

  No where does Jesus say military service is wrong or against Christian Principles. Just one more example of the unbiblical "truth" of the WatchTower

  An effective Ministry?

  do you ever wonder what influence we ex-jws have on other people?

  if you examine current jw's and ex-members, how many were actually converted to witnessdom by someone knocking at the door?

  the wts' own stats show how ineffective the door-to-door work is yet converts are made at quite sizeable rates at times and in some places.

  He'll be expected to try to find some leagal way out. He won't be able to be batized and will be considered "Spritiually Weak" until he exits the military. Strange all that considering the Centurion Cornelius continued in military service even after Peter baptized him and his whole household.

  If he's really serious, getting out of the NG or reserves into an inactive status isn't really all that hard. Anyway, the Military recognizes the JW's why won't they recognize the military?

  i was gone for a whole week at a terrorism awareness class, i got to do some shooting, some driving, crashed through barracades with a car.
