  Yeah, I think bottlefeeding in public is disgusting - so messy and UNnatural

  I know and the way they just whip that bottle out there....like anyone wants to see that!

  Your View On BREASTFEEDING In Public

  last night on the news a woman was told by a store manager that she could not in public breastfeed her child.

  she and her husband were quite offended and complained to the company's main offices.

  they are now looking into this situation.. what's your opinion?

  It's funny when you think about it, I mean while breastfeeding is something I enjoyed doing it was also a huge pain in the ass at times. I mean you think we enjoy milk stains on our tops? Chaffed nipples? Having strangers gape at us? Trust me most breastfeeding moms would much rather be somewhere private where they don't have to worry about someone accidently getting a glimpes of their boobs.

  Some people are just so kind

  when our friend marion was baptised a few months ago, trev and i went to the service, and we briefly met a couple there who have become good friends with marion since she has been attending their church.

  they seemed very nice people, and since then have occasionally asked marion how we are.

  they gave her a lift to the hospital to see me last thursday, and could see how concerned she was about me, i was very unwell last week.

  in missouri at a ihop, a lesbian kissed another female (her gf) on the cheek, once while sitting in the restaurant.

  the manager went over to the ladies and told them they were not welcomed there and therefore had to leave.

  the women described the kiss on the cheek as a similar type of kiss to an "uncle".

  Kissing does not a lesbian make....

  Anyone see that episode of Friends where Rachal and Monica kissed each other to get their apartment back? For a lot of women kissing another woman on the lips is no big deal. Doesn't mean they want to have sex with each other though. (unless that ruins someone's fantasy then I take it back, they do want to have sex )

  indispensable for "pagans", christians and jews to 'connect' with god.

  not to mention the eleborate rituals that accompany their use.

  It's an interesting topic Gregor. I guess I wish you would expand more on your take on religions using icons and whatnot and why you feel that way.

  Personally I understand using certain things as a focal point for medication and/or worship. I think it's when you rely on them that you start to slide into the absurd. Or like when people see the image of Jesus on a piece of french toast and then worship it.

  I get your point I was just trying to get a discussion started so your thread wouldn't die an untimely death. It's not easy being a saint you know...but it's nice to imagine someone might use me as an accessory one of these days.
