arizona or southern cali in the desert. I love the desert. My aunt and uncle live near palm springs and I love it!!! I also love the area around the grand canyon. I love the west, so somewhere out there...

JW "Prince" buys mansion in Toronto
by Scully injust heard on the news this evening that musician-turned jw 'formerly known as prince' has purchased a mansion in the bridlewood neighbourhood of toronto.. purchase price is reported at $5.5 million (canadian$).. but, will he come to the next apostofest??.

strangest/horrifying dream....
by wonderwoman77 inlast night i had the weirdist dream...i had a dream that i was going to be euthinized.
in my dream i was diagnosised with a brain tumor and somehow my mom had got me to sign a paper that i would agree to get the procedure.
but they were not 100% sure i would die if i did not have it.

bang...no one in my family is still a jw, I do not think it had to do with them at all. My mom signed the paper, she does have borderline personality disorder, which has caused much strain on our relationship. It is crazy...I know.

What would you do?
by moman ina practicing jw is having some doubts about the borg.. he, and his wife are parents of a severly retarded son, whom they treat with much love.
they take him to some meetings & endure much heartache, as he cannot sit still for long.
he constantly drools & sometimes throws fits, he is strong and they need help in restraining him at times.. they believe that jehovah god will restore him to health, and if they just hang on long enough the new system will be here.. would you tell them the truth about the jw lie, or let them live in a fools paradise?

I think there has to be some way to tell them. They are suffering now by taking the kids to the meetings where he expected to sit perfectly still and not make noise, which is difficult for any child and should not be expected. This is harmful to the kid and to them, let them enjoy the child.....

GF, Yeah I know it is most likely not a big problem, but the doc said if they did not go away he wanted to do an mri, so I am sure that is why I was thinking that in my subconscious...

who says that everyone that considers them spiritual puts their whole life on hold? That is absurd. The all or none statements in this thread are a little much. When you can only see black and white, that is when you have an imbalance. Learn to see the gray and colors of life....

Attracted To What Types?

either woman who are very nice and sweet or woman who are wild and crazy.
however, i don't like woman who are rude and have a lot of attitude.. many guys like blonds, but i tend to like dark haired woman better.

In a guy, I like someone that is tall, as windrider and kaf, I am tall and like to look up everyonce in a while. I have dated shorter guys, but prefer them taller. I like a guy that is kind of rustic. I like a little facial hair. I usually am attracted to a slightly darker complected man. The guy has to have a sense of humor. He has to like to have fun, but no when it is time to be serious as well. I like someone I can have an intelligent conversation with. I like someone that can disagree with me and it be ok. ok...think I am done for now...

Elsewhere, I agree with that, but also a friend of mine passed away and she was just a year older than me, only 25. Also, my boss has been like a second mom to me and is great, so I can see why she would be protecting me from my own mom I have not seen in months. And I am overly stressed and I have been having headaches and dizzy spells that I have a fear could be more...so all that together makes my dream. But it was still freaky and weird.
