I know that feeling when they say we are so close to the end. It turns my stomach. Its been 3 years for me but I still remember what the hall smelled like.

I guess in the back of my mind I dont see world conditions getting better and I am insecure about myself. I wasnt raised in the Org. But I studied at 16 and got baptized at 17. I dont like the icky feeling I get when I wake from one of those dreams. I dont know what to believe. All I know for sure is that the WBTS is not the truth. I dont know where to go from there. *sigh*

Thats what I dont understand. I have made a new life. I got remarried had 2 beautiful babies, moved cities. I never think about the borg or going back. I love my husband more than anything. I dont know why I keep getting these stupid crazy nightmares. Its like being robbed. I feel like my brain has been stolen. It makes me sick.

so i thought ok, i will give my kid a pen and my book of bible stories to keep him busy.
then they said that was a bad idea because he might write on the furniture and it wasnt good to teach them to write on the wbt publications.

All this talk about money and programs for the kids would be nice, but there is never enough money for them for anything. At all the assemblies they would do the money report and somehow there was always a short of funds.

"I asked my mom once why the JW's don't have sunday schools. She sayd it's because when Moses called the Isrealites together he said to gather them all young and old....... how lame an excuse is that?! So I responded - "And didn't he also tell them all they had to be circumcised? Dad better make an appointment asap!" She didn't know what to say in response - she just told me I was being unreasonable and wouldn't accept anything the society said. Well duh!"

I think the assemblies were just plain abuse on everyone. It was like 8 hours of pain for my little ones. I just remember going into the bathroom hearing some "sister" smacking her little one for not sitting still. I wouldnt do that to mine, and it bothered me so much that a child would get a beating for being normal. The WTS dont get it at all. They use the example of bible times and how their kids had to sit through days and days of teaching. We live in different times and IMO that may be a reason why so many of them were "disobedient".
