  JW family made contact....

  .....after 8 years of us being disfellowshipped.

  the made contact through my aunt who is still 'in' - as in she has faded but is not disfellowshipped and will pop to a meeting now and again - she does this for my grans' sake.. the contact was from my aunt and uncle (he's an elder) these were the 2 witnesses used against me in my judicial case.

  they contacted my aunt and said to forward the message onto us.

  Blondie I don't know how you do this. I can't even ever read all of this even with your comments. It's barf worthy to have to read their thoughts. You have an amazing constitution to stomach the study required to do this. My hat is off to you.

  I actually back. Tried to amicably put an end to the madness. Fingers crossed.

  But, I was told that the Kingdom Hall is the only place to learn and have Holy Spirit. So my studying was in vain. Also, research and study when not in the meetings creates room for the devil. That's an exact quote. I just said okay and thanks a lot, while sprinkling in that I had their numbers and I'd call if necessary, so no more drop ins.

  But, it's interesting that the official advice from them was research is room for the devil. Because we all know where research leads... TTATT.

  Glad we quick faded. It's rougher. But I won't be going to this now. We started a fade but two months in just quit. All hell broke loose, but its been so worth it. I'm gonna post a note I got in my door recently. You won't believe it.

  My mother wants to see my kids

  i decided to call my mother more often at the request of my brother (the parental units have been driving him crazy and my calling more hopefully will decrease the craziness my brother has had to deal with).

  so i called her last tuesday and the first thing that pops out of her mouth is she recovering from a weekend of babysitting her "substitute grandchildren" (her exact words and actually my nonjw cousin's children) since she doesn't get to see her own grandchildren.. wonderful .

  there are reasons why i don't take my children to my mother's house.

  Just can't miss a meeting, not even on a vacation

  we had out of state company come the past couple days.

  we had a days notice they were coming.

  they stayed 1.5 days and left today because they couldn't miss the wt back home.
