Humans destroy things... they always have... they may do something that destroys LIFE ON EARTH. The earth however will be just fine and after an unknown period of time new life will appear or the earth will die out. Does it matter that nearly every single religion has said this would happen? No.

i often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.

while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).

a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.

Bobby Rivera was in electronics. He was previously an engineer for a branch of lucent.

He was do for bringing certain folks into bethel.

Also do you remember the huge deal in 124 where brothers were sitting in the toilets and not flushing on purpose?

On one floor of 124 they were literally cropping on top of each others crap refusing to flush. 4 people got sent home.

a group of bastards, in the name of their islamic religion, under the name 'boko haram' (or 'western education is forbidden') have kidnapped hundreds of youg girls from their school and are threatening to sell them - not least because in their religious view the girls should be married, not pursuing education.. .

have i missed the wt public statement condemning this?

or that of other religions, come to that?

There is no major interest because of where it is happening. The United States has no real interest in the area.

This terrorist group that is sponsored by Alqueda(sp) is not new. They have been committing atrocities for a long while. The real question is why has this story received any coverage at all in light of the lack of interest shown by the media in these areas. Is it a distraction from something else or are they going to use it as the catalyst to go after the resources in the area? Who knows, but in about 18 months we will find out.

Yoga apparently lets demons into your mind... because demons like to stay in your brain and play around in there and make you think things...

Racist comment from Jehovahs Witness!

i work as a concierge for a building in central london.

recently we had a new window cleaner firm take over, as the old boy who had done the job for years, retired!.

i noticed that the new guy (with assistant) was a jw because i asked for his business card and noticed the blood card nestled tightly in the wallet card holder compartment, as he reached for a card.

Watchtower loves racists. They move up quick.

While I was there I heard racist statements from Sydlik, Barber and Loesch. Then there was Brother Aulicino omg that guy. What is funny they would do it to the face of the person who they were trying to offend. Asian at hte table - make an Asian joke... black guy at the table - make a black joke. Lord help you if you were Polish.

My favorite was Brother Sydlik saying how wonderful it was to watch the BLACK BOYS play ball, the have the strength of animals out there! Just look at them.

i'm not even out yet and sometimes i feel like expressing my opinions loudly, wearing t-shirts with messages on them (gasp!

), and getting up in people's faces when they annoy me.

sometimes the thought of a fistfight sounds appealing.

I SURE DO... The WTBTS best tactic is stripping you of your individuality and your desire to be who you are.

Since I have left I do wear clothing that has meaning to me. I have a bumper sticker on my car. I have a particular flag I wave.

I also discuss things that previously I avoided at all costs. I have art that I like that is on display because I do not care if the brothers are offended by african statues...

Are you serious!!! I roomed with him for 3 months. He was my first eoommate. Only problem was he kept telling me I should spend more time in the library and less time playing basketball.

Then one day I came home and he separated my dirty laundry in the little net bags... I was like this is too much. Then I moved in with a smelly guy from Kentucky named Kevin and wished I could have had Joshua back
