Apognophos, I am very confused by their new teaching of adding a caste-system to the annointed remmenant. I can't imagine how hurt the brothers and sisters who thought they are brothers and sisters of Christ feel when they read they are mentally ill! I would be mad as Hell if I was partaking of the emblems only to have the Congregation wondering if I need some Prosac or Lithium.

The Writers new interpretation is to clean up their slanted ideas of Jesus Words? Their new ideas make better sense but does not allow for the problem of exposing individuals at Bethel or Patterson of beating their fellow Slaves? The arrangement of the current Governing Body and distruction of any authority the annointed JWs previously had. My own thinking is telling me they are beating their fellow Annointed Witnesses by castration, so is the Watchtower's GB now the Evil Slave who is telling all Annointed Christians they are "suspect" of being mentally ill unless they are working with the Governing Body at Bethel? Their new-new-new-new lighte is very confusing, it's causing more class distinctions and schizms instead of bringing us all together as a loving body of Christ!

additionally with the Governing Body and their "FDS Class" in their current state of absolute power, there is no way Jesus parable of a Evil Slave having the ability to torment the faithful slaves logistically possible. The Slave has total power over everyone and will throw anyone out once they get a hint of disobedience or free-thinkings!

i don't want to alarm anybody but the i have heard that the watchtower legal team has made threat to have various websites shut down for leaking important documents out to the public and to its various members of the christian congregation.

has anyone else heard this?

Slim, once they said there was a Evil Slave class and now it's only apostates and rebels who despise the righteous standards of a unchanging truth the Governing Body has preached since their inception.

Dis-member, the E-watchman is very deep with Bible truths, he is worth reading because he is not afraid to use the Bible, the Society's old magazines and current topics. Did you ever speak with him and is he a nice brother?

Blondie, how did your spirituallity evovle when you left the Organization after being in the same position I am? I still believe in God and Jesus, not the way the Watchtower teaches us about them. We both fell for their teachings on the Serpant (Gen 3:14-16) and Micheal the ArchAngel without using our own brains while deeply entrenched in the mire of their teachings. How do you keep a spiritual nature Sister?

How can the Watchtower with one face say "There is a Faithful Slave" and destroy the second part of the scripture about the "Evil and Wicked Slave"?

Does the staff writers for the Governing Body use a "Cafteria style" or "pick-and-choose" approach to dissection of Bible Scriptures saying "Hate your parents" but ignore "love your enemies"? It's plan madness I can't understand or grasp, please help me get this, usually I am not this stupid!

i am currently on a business trip for a trade show in another city.

as i'm walking to the convention center, i run into 2 jw's preaching.

one is about mid 60s the other probably mid 30's.

I am going to try that when my hubby goes on a business trip in San Fransisco or San Diego, we never attend Meetings on vacation or preach in a field. When we were in Indonesia or Vietnam and Cambodia on Vacation, never did we preach or attend the local Meetings and check up how the work is going.

Only in the English field would I try that line El Guapo, you are the man!

Some JWs overseas use a false name to evade the authorities. Is this a common practice?

i had posted this a few days ago and got no response, then i realized i had messed up the title, so here goes again;.

i have learned from a credible source that jws from the us have recently gone to morocco to witness, where the work is under ban, and while living there have lived under assumed names.

this is (according to my source) under the direction of the branch (i'm not sure which branch it would be, but i would guess france).

rmt1, she was a former atheist and hard core evolutionist and walked away from getting her doctarate after studying with the Witnesses who appeared as knowing all the problems the world had to offer. Also, part of the generation who would never have kids because the "world's population was growing so fast and it would be cruel to bring about life in such a messy environment."

She was not a fun person to discuss religion or Bible topics with during her schooling decades ago. So very well trained in logic, critical thinking, world religious views and years of hard-science and math, evolution and atheism were truth to her. Now I look back and ask how a person who knew how to think turned their mind in to cottage cheese and would say that they felt the "Governing Body appeared so human and down to earth". What happened to the thinking person I loved to argue and debate with, where did her brain go?

Donating to charities discouraged by the WT

im trying to find articles from the wt and awake that show when the writers are discouraging charity work or giving.

I know Witnesses who visit the Food Bank and use Blood Bank products from Factor-8 and Factor 9 to Spider Bite and Snake Bite treatments. Can someone help me ask the right questions to get the brothers and sisters to think why it's ok to take when Paul quotes Jesus saying "It's better to give than to receive".

How come JWs don't feel guilt always taking and never giving? Witnesses who were financial strong would visit the Food Bank to get Cheese, Milk and other "day old bread" grocery stores donated to the Senior "Bread Basket". It's bad enough they don't donate or give but to take things they don't need because their too cheap is obscene!

We at JWN sometimes assume a higher education might help people see through the smoke and mirrors which did not happen in this case. It took twenty five years of Cult indoctrination to turn a former graduate at the top of their class and finish their Master's of Science degree to hand over their thinking to the Cult.

Hoping to make contact with a friend who might see through the lies, I was grilled with constant emphasis how wonderful the Governing Body presented themselves "so human in appearance", as opposed to "non human" or "angelic"? What did she mean?
