  2. Everywhere we look, there is intelligent design. Scientists ascribe this to a 'what', while religion ascribes it to a 'who', God.

  Like return of the parakeet, I hate when religious nutters beat on science, when science has given us all we have of value today. Organized religion has fought tooth and nail against knowledge which would uplift our race.

  Assuming god exists, and the Bible is correct, the first sentence in the Bible is " in the beginning god created...". If God created man in his image then our ability to create is what distinguishes us from all other animals including apes and dolphins. So all the science-bashing is plain stupid.

  My wife just told me to move out...

  because of "religious" differences, she now wants me to move out and "separate"...i said what biblical grounds does she have for her request?.

  she couldnt respond...she said she'd rather be beaten up by me than have an "apostate" in the house.... this org definitely encourages conditional love.... i don't know what to do...by the way, we dont have children.

  i jus got dissfellowshiped at th last week..i feel like dying..i attended th meetings yesterday and ita ws jus horrible..came back home in tears....... people i used to cal my friends nw cant look me in the eye..so heartbroken confused and giving up on life !.

  Stop going to meetings. Seek out friends who love you for you and not for what you believe in. change towns or communities if possible. It will helpyou recover faster. Leaving jws might turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to you.

  Actually my witness brother, called me to tell me the Russian meteorite shower is a sign of the last days. He is university educated. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I wonder if I was ever that ignorant as a dub.

  Why do you give yourselves / allow others to give you labels? I am not an apostate. I simply think the whole lot of jw doctrine is rubbish. Isn't freedom of thought and speech a fundamental human right. The term apostate certainly doesn't apply to me and hopefully you all will stop seeing yourselves as apostate.

  this makes me so mad because they're appealing to this forum18/osce [u.n.] to get their religious freedom, but look what they do to their own people.. i just got an e-mail from a friend [current jw] he said they're 'softening to a kinder gentler wtbt$' really????

  obviously they haven't told the all the other jw's because we're still being shunned and called nasty mentally diseased apostates.
