Nancy Grace...and other things
by troucul ini know there should be two different topics, but as i was posting, i was surfing on yahoo and saw that 27 more gi's died today...it makes one think.. at any rate, i hate nancy grace.
i've never heard her comments on people that were declared not guilty.
for some reason, she moves on to other cases when other defendants were cleared.

At any rate, I hate Nancy Grace. She comes off as self-righteous, and so sure of herself. I've never heard her comments on people that were declared not guilty. For some reason, she moves on to other cases when other defendants were cleared. I wonder why that is...
I'd love to see the skeletons in her closet.

Prince and Lindsay Lohan Partying?
by wozadummy injust finished reading an article in the morning newspaper about lindsay lohan cheking herself into the wonderland centre for drug and alchohol rehab.. it is sad to see such a beautiful young person getting to need such services with so much of her life ahead.. but the part of the report that made me sit up and think was this, i quote........ "ms lohan was in hospital on january 3 for appendicitis but was seen out partying a couple of hours after she was discharged.. since, she has been seen out almost every night and on monday she attended prince's post golden-globes bash at the beverley wilshire hotel.
a fellow party goer said she obviously was the worse for wear.".
well i'm spewing over this and here are my questions then....... if prince is a jw what the hell is he doing organising a large function without the elders approval?.

Anybody have a three year old??? HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!
by mama1119 ini have a 3 year old girl, and she is wild... she has recently started completley disobeying, talking back, slamming doors, spitting at me etc.
it is getting miserable to go anywhere because she throws fits, runs around resturants screaming.
at dance class, her teacher had to send her off the floor because she was the only kid running around and woud not listen.

I don't care what anyone says. If timeouts don't work, a firm slap on the bottom will always do the trick. Just don't do it when you're angry. Have hubby or dad do it.
At some point, depending on how big they are, you won't be able to do it. They might hit back. And then kick your ass.

Were you an innocent bystander or a deliberate dirt digger?
by Jourles inthe title of the thread is more geared towards those who found out the truth about the truth via the internet.
the very first time the word "jehovah" or "watchtower" appeared in a negative light on your computer screen, were you casually surfing the web as a good little jw, or were you intentionally searching for an explanation over something you knew to be wrong in the organization?.
for me, i started visiting h2o back around 1996. i think i simply plugged in "jehovah" in a netscape seach engine and viola!

well, we may not think exactly the same way, as different family situations take people in different directions, but the end result is the same. dubs are misguided at best. and to those that subscribe to their way of thinking, good luck. Me, dirt digger. Though it's not difficult to dig for dirt when you have a mound of loosely laid loom the size of Olympus Mons.

To clarify: I think that the first scripture is merely referring to the poor people, who have no lot in life, who do "not know the Lord", so to speak, who are guilty of nothing more than ignorance. They still need to be provided for. Their time will come....
The daughter of the priest, well, she should know better, a harsh sentence I know. The priest father should have been punished for not looking after his own. And he should not have been a priest. (Ludicrous)
I wonder if back in the day this judgement from Moses came from personal experience. I know my dad dealt with this concept.
All we can go on is the information we have at hand...
