Lived in the Bossert from 1983-1985. Was definitely a roach fest. Room 526. All things considered the memories are good. Plus a great view of the Twin Towers, Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty.

in the 70's a bethel elder told me that every morning in the 60's the paint and scaffold crew, (which was located on the 5th floor of building 4) would go up to the roof and walk around the perimeter on top of the ledge, which i doubt was more than 12" wide.

then they'd go render sacred service to jehovah..

Ex Bethelite here. Buildings 2 and 3 are misnumbered in the pictures. Not that important considering the seriousness of the subject but it is fact. Also this wasn’t the only case of jumping/falling to one’s death at Bethel. Remember Richard Wheelock.

Outside JW World They Barely Exist

is anyone else staggered by the fact that outside of the organization most of the general public seem to know very little or nothing about jw’s?

when i was in i was led to believe that 99% of the worlds population had been giving sufficient warning, knew what it was all about and were stubbornly sticking to their immoral ways.

the reality seems to be that the entire jw universe is barely noticeable to the masses.
