What they find difficult to come to terms with is those who refuse to worship the mother(organisation) as God

I still remember the pictures attached to the Isaiah chapter 44:.....cited during the time Isaiah's prophecy book was used as weekly bible study material.

They sold us the concept ORGANIZATION through the following means as explained by Ray Franz in ISCOF book page 104 paragraph 2

Just as the term “Church” or ekklesia then came to have a double meaning—referring at times to the community of believers and at others to the religious authority exercising control over the believers—so the word “organization” is used in two ways by the Watch Tower organization. It can mean all who are Witnesses worldwide, the Witness community. Or it can refer to those who form the authority structure that directs and controls that community. It is generally not difficult to tell which way the term applies. If there is exhortation to trust, put faith in, be loyal to, listen to, show submission to “the organization” it always applies in the second sense(the authority structure). This thought prevails in the minds of Witnesses. In the expression “Jehovah directs his people through his organization,” if “organization” were used in the first sense it would mean “Jehovah directs his people through his people,” for “organization” would refer to the whole community of Witnesses. Such expressions occur regularly in the Watch Tower publications and create no problem—simply because the minds of Witnesses almost automatically relate the term “organization” to the authority structure based in Brooklyn(and by extension God/Jehovah). It thus takes on the same sense that the word “Church” acquired in the post-apostolic period.

You cannot serve Jehovah and the organisation because in reality Jehovah does not have an organisation.

in 2008 i was baptized into the truth after leaving a trinitarian faith.

during my eight years as a jehovah’s witness, i strived to keep the standards set by the bible, wt and the faithfull and discrete slave.

but unfortunately, the congregational elders from the kingdom hall i attended were not keeping to jehovah’s standards, hence, wrote my letter of resignation.

How Will They End 1914 Teaching?

i'm sure this has been discussed, but 1914 has to go away.

instead of, the overlapping generation teaching, they should have just ditched 1914. .

they should have done that a long time ago with 1975. it's the last of the teachings in the charles taze russell era.. i'm thinking they just will stop talking about it, and it will be out of the mind of the rank and file loyal witnesses .

This week's Watchtower Study - don't complain if ...

don't complain if you get kicked out of bethel after 23 years (it's really a blessing to be assigned back to the field) and don't complain if they sell your kingdom hall even if you have just invested your time and energy renovating it.. so encouraging?.

You can maintain your trust in Jehovah

Not possible within this religious organization, to maintain trust in Jehovah you must completely trust the Governing Body

and his organization

Not scriptural, cannot be supported using the Bible. In essence they are saying trust us your Governing Body.

But to do so, you need to keep your senses,

Members are already told to only keep the senses of the Governing Body even when their sense is nonsense.

that is, to stay calm, think clearly, and see matters from Jehovah’s perspective

Members cannot think clearly on their own since the numerous committees and helpers to the governing body and the governing body already stated they will do the THINKING. Members only need to gulp it continuously even if they contain wormwood or poisons as they continue to look at it from Governing body perspectives.

How do JWs know that millions who were martyred as Christians before the 20th century did not have the heavenly hope?

as i understand it, jehovah’s witnesses believe less than 145,000 faithful christians existed prior to the twentieth century.

the other sheep christians did not start forming until after 1914. that means jehovah’s witnesses view millions martyred for their faith in christ prior to the 20th century as merely professed christians.. the question is…how do witnesses know that those millions who perished for their faith in christ were not christians at all?.

The name Jehovah’s witnesses applies specifically to God's anointed ones who have been taken out of the world and made witnesses for Jehovah, and these alone bear the new name..... Watchtower August 15,1934 pg 249

They use to claim Abel was the first Jehovah’s witness that existed so how come the new name only apply to anointed ones alone?

It all shows how this religious organization had been led over the years by arrogant men who believe they have been made GOD(Guardians of Our Doctrines) over the lives of many
