  NEW RELIGION! NEED INPUT!

  this is sort of a take-off of the "what should the wt do" thread.. i need to get together a board of directors and elect a president and officers.

  we need to figure out a doctrine, a manifesto, and a set of disciplinary rules.

  we need to figure out a way to fund our new movement.

  Baseball is perfect for our main doctrine, since it's in the bible. It's the first thing in the bible, so we don't need anything after baseball from the bible.

  We do need a demon moderator. JAVA is in charge of that, so he'll need to find a way to dispatch the JW demons. Perhaps with Simon's help we can thwart the demon foe.

  About the bible study, been there and done that. You can insert your bible study straight up your pee hole, though.

  Danielle,

  Since you are so sensitive to demons, I'm going to cast a spell upon you! There is a way out, though. There is several items at your place of residence which have become demon infested. You will start experiencing demonic happenings around you. You must find these items, pray over them to cast out the demons. You must then burn them. You have a very short time to do this, otherwise all items in your household will become infected. Remember, even new items can be demon infested, not just items bought at yard sales. Get to it NOW!

  Welcome!

  I'm a moral, ethical and somewhat conservative person, in my opinion. I think I'm good association. However, you are going to run into anti-WTS views as well as pro-WTS views here. As for me, I think the WTS is a bogus, old fart directed organization that screws with people's lives at times. Just thought I'd warn you.(as if you couldn't tell by some of the other posts)

  Is Napster Home For Demons?

  i remember that in my days as a jw, re-recording a cassette or record was regarded as fraudulent conduct.

  the idea was that the original artist was being deprived of royalties, so the practise was verboten.. if you were going to make recordings, then record talks at assemblies!.

  it seems that the downloading of napster has re-awakened many jw consciences, not only because of its stated purpose of sharing music files, but because of napsters logo.. so what exactly is that little white face?

  you are making yourself a "follower of men". Even MDS said he had followers. He's taking his own ideas and applying them to scripture. Can't you see that? He will fail. But then, his ravings are so ambiguous that it can be made to fail or not.

  Excellent article on WTBS Abuse Policies

  this link to a news article on the society's policies on handling abuse cases is perhaps one of the best ever.

  it is not an easy read however.

  in fact some might find it quite painful and disturbing, but it appears to present the facts quite well.. i think all who were involved in this and could come forward to help out in the matter should be commended.

  The WTS simply needs to get out of the counceling business. They need to just get out of business. Few if any of tthe elders have any training except what the WTS gives them, and that's pathetic.
