  Do JW believe in the Trinity? If yes, why and if no, why

  No they do not. The reason goes back to the Bible Student founder Charles Taze Russell and his core tenet of the ransom sacrifice: A perfect human Jesus in exchange for a perfect Adam.

  This allows for humans to be resurrected from the dead to a paradise earth because the scales of universal justice have supposedly been balanced.

  However Russell still left a problem unresolved: If Jesus was just a human how could his redemptive power be used to raise some humans from the dead to heaven? A human ransom alone would not cover it.

  The only solution would be if Jesus was both human and God at the same time.

  However this is all just fantasy. Its like debating who would win in a fight: Spiderman or Silver Surfer

  Are logos evil?

  i have a vague memory of jws having some objection to logos of some kind in the past, which might be a contradiction to the recent addition of the jw.org logo.. please can someone enlighten me on what their stance used to be regarding logos?.

  Awake 1981 November 22 p. 30 Watching the WorldPope John Paul II’s visit to Ireland in 1979 was “said to have cost almost $8 million,” reports the Financial Post of Toronto, Canada, and “the Church had to come up with almost $6 million . . . while fly-by-night entrepreneurs cashed in by selling trinkets and souvenirs.” According to the Post, to see that the Church gets a share of the booty this time, a new company called Papal Visits, Ltd., has been formed by the bishops of Scotland, England and Wales. The company reportedly has appointed a commercial organization to manage the sale of commemorative programs, T-shirts, books and a multitude of other souvenirs—all carrying an official logo, of course.

  do any of you ex-jw's still believe in god?

  even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.

  the god of the old testimate is an angry murderer who approved rapes and slavery and killed thousands of men, women and children.

  Its important to try and hit 50 at least. Sort of like a standardized reference measure.

  sorry for long delay for update.. short story shorter - walked in way too late, she walked by, didn't say hi, i didn't say hi, she left to work, i left the bar.

  4 friends got into a huge fight and were kicked out.

  now i'll be going there alone.. to be honest, though, i think i'm just gonna pass on relationships all together.

  Does Anyone Have Knowledge About Follicular B Cell Lymphoma and Blood Transfusions?

  from what i've read, platelet and red blood cell levels are usually severely lowered during traditional treatment for this type of cancer.

  is this correct?

  and if so, are platelets and red blood cells now part of the watch tower approved fractions?

  She's convinced that chemotherapy doesn't work, and that her course of treatment is the Max Gerson diet, which includes coffee enemas and eating organic fruits and vegetables. From what I've read, this diet has not only been disproved as a cure for cancer, but also causes a host of health problems related to the unbalancing of electrolytes.

  She might as well go see a witch doctor while she's at it.

  Here's the good news regarding conventional treatment: "Almost 66 out of 100 people with stage1 diffuse large B cell lymphoma (66%) will survive for 5 years or more after they are diagnosed. And around 70 out of 100 people with stage 2 diffuse large B cell lymphoma (70%) will survive for 5 years or more.

  Unfortunately the outlook for stage 3 and 4 diffuse large B cell lymphoma is less good. Over 50 out of 100 people with stage 3 (50%) will survive for 5 years or more. And almost 50 out of 100 people with stage 4 (50%) will survive for 5 years or more after their diagnosis. "

  Her chances may drop down because she's older than 60 but the prognosis is pretty great using conventional treatment. To give a comparison, stage 4 non-small cell lung carcinoma only has a 1% five year survival rate, so a 50% survival rate for stage IV B cell lymphoma is actually quite sterling.
