  Printing and No new people at Bethel

  i found this out from my brother-in-law, an elder at bethel.. he says that the wtb&ts has hired outside printing compan(y|ies) to print their bound volumes only.. i do recall when i was up in ri, that a brother worked for a printing and binding company that the wtb&ts hired to print the greatest man covers.. also regarding dumping people at bethel -not true, he says.

  however, they are not accepting any new people.

  for individuals who want to stay they can.

  I do recall when I was up in RI, that a brother worked for a printing and binding company that the WTB&TS hired to print the Greatest Man covers.

  Also regarding dumping people at Bethel -not true, he says. However, they are not accepting any new people. For individuals who want to stay they can. For those who want to go, they can; but those now vacant positions are not being filled by newbies.

  The old, sick, and dying are NOT being abandoned.

  I disagree SYN - I think they know a lot more than you think they do. At least the key people do. The peons are the ones left to the dogs.

  That's the guy. I've known Joel since 1969. Know his Dad, Mom, brothers. Nephews, Neices, etc.

  His Dad, considered by many, to be THE man at one time in the whole state of RI, USA.

  somebody - you have to know the Gott's. You're from Pawtucket right?
  PendleBerry, Mueller, and at one time, ?Baron? town.

  I like/d Joel, but he may be filled with his own importance now.

  His wife is quite perky - talks like a machine gun, rapid fire.

  His mother was a Gilead grad from the FIRST class.

  His Dad used to be some kind of secretary to the G.B I believe.

  His Uncle is/was also a big-wig in Bethel.

  Joel is actually one of those elders sons who Gott to go to a tech school (higher-ed) for electronics/computers. He lived in Rochester, NY, USA for a while (I think that is where he went to school or he Gott his first real Job after graduating).

  actually what I got back was something like

  "Please, don't do that."

  It wasn't: "How are you, blah, blah, blah."

  In fact his response was down right rude.

  So I guess he turned that account off.

  My guess is that they will now turn "root" off also.

  maybe try root nearly everyone has a root, unless they have deleted it. Anyway at the time they had a [email protected]

  I even got a response back to stop doing it. From someone I had known for 30 years. And that's when I was trying to be helpful, and he sticks a thumb up my ass.

  when you were a devout witness, what were the teachings that you couldnt accept, even though you believed most of the rest?.

  A while back I really got into Greek and got fairly good at it. Verbs, tenses, past and future plu-perfect crap and sh&*, you know all the bullsh*& that Freddy and Tony Morris used to pull.

  I got sick and tired of Tony Morris (an up an coming GB wanna-be)knowing Greek and spouting off his knowledge and telling me/us what things meant. So I thought I would get in the swing of things and surprise him. Of course his definitions were ALWAYS more accurate than mine. AS-WEEP-EH (ass-wip-e).

  Anyway, the time came when I came across the part about how the WTB&TS defined the word for temple. I believe this is the same exact thing that got Mr. Ray Franz's buddy in trouble (?Sam somebody?). I still had not read any of Mr. Ray Franz's books yet. I wasn't the bad boy just yet. Some time in the early 80's I think. When I finally did read Mr. Ray Franz's book, I found out that I was NOT the ONLY person who felt that way.

  I think I actually preadated him (?SAM?)in his challenge against the WTB&TS.

  Anyway I seen how they translated the word for temple: NAOS and HURION or HEIDIKEL or some sh%& like that (It's been about 5 years since I dropped my study of Greek).

  I went to all my books (lexicons, word studies, etc) and then some at libraries and book stores. Every SINGLE time, if I remember correctly, the definition was exactly the opposite of what the society taught. I came across others as well, if I think long enough and hard enough, I'm sure they will come to me.

  I believe I brought it up, but was told to wait on JAh, so I dropped it, asked myself "Why did they have to go and ruin it? Why did they have to go off and lie and/or misrepresent?" -I didn't want to face the facts.

  ?SAM? was DF'ed and I wasn't. Who paid the price? Him or me?

  i like the society never apologize anymore!

  if i say something wrong or do something incorrect i merely say excuse me the light just got brighter.

  most people look confused when i say this, as do the people in the watchtower bible tract society, but i felt it works for them,------------ its good enough for me.. excuse me the light just got brighter yes i like the sound of that.. one member of the writing department said to another we really got this disfollewshipping thing wrong-------- first we say we cant talk to them.

  March 1980 WT can't remember the 1st or 15th or what page, but they did baiscally the same thing there too, about blaming the rank and file.

  That is the closet I have EVER seen the WTB&TS give an apology.

  Who in your HO is leading the WTB&TS? When Bro. Knorr was prez it was still Freddy running things.

  I'm not talking about Larson. So I say it's Bro. Adams. Oh there's another guy but his name escapes me.

  I was just making refernece that witnesses hold to some things that come from pagan origin, such as "wedding bands" and neck-ties, etc.

  Money or the images on them are printed with pagan reliefs. Jesus apparently handled money that had Ceaser on it -Considered a god, I'm sure.

  So maybe we should all condemn Jesus. Not only did he handle it, he even recommended that people pay the tax. The tax, in part, financed the Roman Army. An army that proved to be very ruthless to the Jewish Nation some 40 years later.

  I can therefore conclude that, in part, it was because of Jesus that the Jewish nation was destroyed, not to mention all those people who died.

  Just one last comment from me on this.

  From what I read in MY bible and the illustration Nathan gave to David about the cherished family pet can I not draw the same conclusion that David himself drew? (2 sam 12:5;12:9) Namely that David was a murderer?

  And, if Mr. Bryant did indeed wipe out his family, can I not say that he is/was a murderer?

  How is that judging? That's what happened.

  You plainly said yourslef, that ?well before? this tragic incident happened he was hearing voices. Clearly not a sign of mental stability.
