We Disassociated Ourselves Tonite!!!

local elder called tonite, with a witness on the phone to ask if it is true we were smoking ?

we said yes, and we know who told on us.

it was a ms who was at the club just last week with another woman, not his wife of course, while she was at the meeting.

It couldn't have happened to a nicer couple!! You guys are so fortunate to come out of this as a family. The mention of your son asking about christmas really pulled at my heart strings. I'm glad to know your family has come out of the clutches of this terrible cult and can now really begin a normal, healthy life.

Enjoy your freedom and in everything be wise. It's your choice to smoke but I, for one, would like to see you guys around for a very long time. (I lost my dad to lung cancer) Consider your choices wisely.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE COMMERCIAL???

today, some friends told me that something historic happened this past week.while they were watching the today show(i think) they saw a new commercial from the society.

they were amazed that the society would put on a commercial.

they told a group of witnesses about what they saw at a get together.

Wonder how we could find out the channels it will air on and the time it will air?

I'd just love to sit in front of the TV with my husband and see it come on. Then I'd put on my best acting and I'd have a very shocked look on my face and mention something along the lines of my being shocked that the society would make a TV commercial since they consider the media a tool of Satan's. I'd have a great puzzled look on my face and ask "Why in the world would they do that?"

hehehehe.... So, anyone know how we could go about getting the times and dates and channels it will air?

You've already recieved lots of great advice from the others here. I just wanted to welcome you to our growing family here at JW.com. I also wanted to mention that you can do a search for a particular topic on this site and read past threads. Doing this has helped me in my own research, I've recently become inactive myself. Under the logo at the top left of this page you will see a yellow tab that says research click there and then key in any key word or words to do a search for a particular topic.

The best advice that I can offer is to read all that you can. There is lots of good info. out on the net and in books that you can buy online or at your local bookstore. I think someone already gave you some of the more popular and informative internet links and someone else mentioned the book "Crisis of Conscience", it is a must read.

Stick around here, read and post your thoughts. Ask for help when you need to.

pedophile paradise.... too bad bill could not substanciate this accusation.... yes we do have pedophile in our ranks.... but bill 23,000 where the hell did you get that figure....(i want proof damnit).

yes we do have problems within the organisation.... yes, some elders have been on a power trip for a long time.... yes, there have been many doctrinal changes..... why would witnesses on certain countries allowed to vote why people in the us cannot even harbor.

the thought of voting.... i hope bill bowen does not get disfellowship...cause if he is he will no longer able to drum up supports among true diehard, dedicated witnesses to the cause.. most people up in here are deleberately bashing the organisation.... why?

i had the pleasure of adding jesika to my list last night and after the haze of the sake bombs parted, i had good thoughts of all the apostates/people from this board i have met.

if i left some of you off, feel free to rebuke me at any time and please remind me if we have met and i just couldn't remember.....i'm wondering if we have six degrees of bad association...if any of you lovely folks have met any of the folks on my list then lets play a game and see how many names we can come up with and add your own list too.
