  Update: Its been awhile.. Sorta a long post but i'll have a TLTR at the bottom.

  last time i was really active on here i just found out ttbtt.. i was 28 at the time and now im 33. a lot has gone on but im finally able to live my life.

  have my own apartment, steady job, a dog.

  a big event that recently happened was a little of a year and a half ago my jw mom passed away.. i hadn't talked to her in over a year prior and i almost didn't go see her before she did.

  As already mentioned by others, move on and create a good life for yourself, involving people who like, respect and love you for who you are now.

  I think that sums it up nicely

  And as someone else said you don`t need toxic people in your life. move on.

  Conscience Issues

  thought inspired by my post on tattoos: within the watchtower organisation, how many "conscience issues" actually are?

  are people who actually do exercise their consciences in grey areas painting a target on their backs for the more hard-line dubs?

  are they quietly avoided because " bad associations spoil useful habits"?

  I personally new of Elders and MS, who smoked and drank alcohol ,how much is too much and how little can we get away with ?

  To each his own I say.

  Whatever grabs your fancy.

  Who can live in this world without some small vice ? as you get older ?

  in the revelation book it talks about jesus' witnesses.

  were are true witnesses of jesus, not those who teach that jesus is the almighty god, but really true witnesses of jesus.. this is what the revelation book ways about witnesses of jesus:.

  19:10 ..... brothers who have the work of witnessing concerning jesus.

  I don`t think anyone has given any thought to the mental stress this demotion could have on his mental health .

  If what has occurred to him was because of his drinking problem then he is most likely in a vulnerable state and a possible suicide risk.

  .I wouldn`t wish that on anybody.

  I realise he didn`t care for the feelings of people he has hurt over the years being an arrogant GB member but we don`t have to sink to that same low level ourselves do we.

  Just saying.

  I know I have made fun of his drinking problem myself and I should know.

  My report from the "trying my patience" DC

  pre covid attendance was always 7k+ this year 4500.. 37baptised mixed bag.

  less then half were children.. as far as patience goes, it can certainly help you be a better person when dealing with others but needless to say, this having patience waiting for jehovah is pure b.s.!

  It`s funny how Jehovah`s witnesses point to the Bible to say that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked (Satan) one 1 John 5:19 , ,but when it comes to the crunch, it`s not Jehovah who comes to their rescue ,but Satans world who bails them out .

  Should a person die for their religious BELIEFS?

  in ancient israel many of the prophets were killed as a result of their religious assignments —from god.

  even soldiers were sent out to fight against idolatrous “uncircumcised” and logically some died for example jonathan, the son of king saul.

  these soldiers were said to be fighting the wars of jehovah and there was no miraculous salvation for everybody all of the time.
