Then at the end of the article of course it says JW News is not possible without donations and a video about how to donate online.
That statement says it all : Including the lifestyle Governing Body members and their wives live.
Actually JW News reminds me of Watching The World on the inside back cover of AWAKE magazine .

An interesting post DK757 ,I guess I`m a bit of an introvert as I`m quite happy in my own company.Though I`ve got into the habit of going to one of two clubs everyday now for 2 beers that I`m happy to spend about 2 hours quietly drinking before heading home again.
I have a few different friends / acquaintances who I have come to know at each club and if there I will socialize with them but if they are not there I`m still happy being on my own , in my own thoughts.
Organised meetings of any sorts now are not my cup of tea.
As far as the spiritual aspect is concerned ,I do find wonder in the complexity and divergent of all life forms that exist on this planet and I find myself wishing ? that their was some higher power nurturing and protecting what there is.
But then I come back to reality.Just about every living thing on this planet survives by living off the death and destruction of some other living thing on land sea and in the oceans IMHO .

full disclosure: i still don't believe in the bible's claims about the existence of the supernatural, even of jehovah god (i'm an atheist and a scientific/philosophical naturalist), but i am asking this question because recent events are starting to seem (to me) to fit well the description of some prophecies in the bible.
consider the following.. several hours ago (on 11-26-2021) as i was about to enter a local fred meyer store of my city (in suburb or small city in the metro area of a large city) a person i know told me that a moment earlier a person left the store in a hurry with a cart load up with unpaid merchandise (i think i was told it was groceries but i don't remember that for sure).
Aren`t believers in the Bible as Gods word, today on this forum , doing what the WT/JW religion have been doing for the past 145 years or so looking for signs ?

So one must ask himself / herself what kind of a being is Jehovah God who allows Satan to exist and do this to his created human beings ,in a sense his children ?
Would any normal parent put their children through what God has allowed Satan to do for thousands of years as Jehovah has ?

looks like he was forced to talk about something he no longer believes, but goes along what was written to appease the rest of the ''governing body.''.

I think the reason the numbers of the anointed keep going up is because the r&f have lost faith in paradise earth being a reality in their lifetime and is not going to happen, so they opt out for the resurrection into heaven the moment they die, however far away in time that may be.
