That was hard viewing FTS . I hate animal cruelty in any form.

Every living thing on this planet does so by the mostly violent death of another living thing.

God is love ? I don`t think so ,and neither can Jesus be as it means he has been complicit in all of the atrocious things God has done in the Old Testament.

That is ,if you believe in th Bible in the first place.

my name is debra i have been out of this cult for a number of years now but i know how difficult it is for people to have the courage to leave especially if they have family still trapped inside i'd like to help people who may be struggling by offering them a listening ear and some support /friendship via email .

Welcome Debra lets get to know you a little better, and you us . I know as a JW we went in cold turkey trying to "befriend" the householders we met at the doors in FS and we had an agenda not to be their friends but to convert them .

why they believe that is now Russia as the King of the North ?

During the cold war they believed and taught that the U.S.S.R. was the king of the North .

And after the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. was disbanded it lay in limbo for a time .

Now its Russia? I think they would be better off saying its China, with her military build up/expansion taking place.

maybe i missed it since i have not been on here as much in the last 6 months.

Significant Changes Happening - Even Though Many May Not Realize

as an active pimo though, i came up with the list in the above post simply from the standpoint that very significant changes have been occurring on an ongoing basis and sometimes i think even very active witnesses do not realize it.

a few major items that have been ongoing or were singular events listed below.

It would be very interesting to listen in on a GB meeting and how they will try to come up with some "New Light" to explain away their present predicament and keep the R&F interested and active members without the risk of losing more and more people.

What is your status (as of today) as a Jehovah's Witness?

by RULES & REGULATIONS in

active believer...still attend meetings, go out in field service, believe it's ''the truth''.

active non-believer... go to meetings and field service to please family... living a double life .

inactive believer...don't attend meetings but believe it's the truth, one day might go back to kingdom hall.

I guess I`m #4 last attended a JW funeral 28 years ago and have never set foot in a KH again ,some years ago I was influenced to DA myself by some comments on this forum beleiving I have DF the JW religion.

I have never regretted it.

I do not beleive in the Bible, God, or any other form of religion .

I do marvel at the size of the universe , all forms of life on earth ,and beleive the odds of some form of life being present elsewhere in the universe just has to be.

Does that class me as being a spiritual person of some sort ? I dont know.
