i think it is fair to say that no-one has consistently contributed more solid gold intelligence to this site.
no one has reliably passed on more bomb shells and solid news as well as day to day minutiae.

In it the GB helper rails against many major apostate talking points, mentioning specifically the criticisms of how child abuse cases are handled, the financial cutbacks and downsizing, dogmatic statements of prophecy made in literature in the past, and more.
Isn`t that enough to start some serious questioning of what one was lead to believe ?
Maybe it could be a wake up call for some ? hopefully .

i knew a few..and they were well connected with wealthy famlies.

As is normal with human nature there are many people who look up to other people with popularity or position / prominence in an organization ,and Jehovah`s witnesses have been no exception.
CO`s and DO`s have been well looked after by the rank and file believing they may have been entertaining Angels as the scriptures indicate .
Jehovah`s Witnesses are more SUPERSTITIOUS than they care to admit.

Jehovah`s Witnesses put their emphasis on the name given to the Old Testament God that is not given prominence in the New Testament as the name Jesus is.
Children of Jehovah`s Witnesses should be taught to become friends of Jesus because he is the only one for you to become friends with Jehovah.

What useful piece of literature have the JW produced?

i am curious as to the various opinions on there value.. for me i have been inactive for 3 years almost 4. i still have alot of books and of course all their bibles ever produced (except a few from the 1800s.).
in my opinion i think there are four books the jws produced that are useful:.

I personally would not throw anything out before 2000.
Correct me if I am wrong ,but I think the WT Organization has instructed congregations to destroy all of their old literature that they still have in there libraries ? Didn`t I read that somewhere on this forum ?
The JW / WT religion are masters at re-writing their past history and getting rid of anything that can be embarrassing to them at any given time....And there has been a bloody lot .LOL
Thanks be to the Internet that is going to go a long way in their fading into non existance .
The more of their old literature that we can remind them of the better .

also a large cardboard box full of old congregation records. i never kept a single thing.
A pity about that my friend ,there could have been some very useful info in those records ,never mind ,I found it interesting you were never a JW ,yet have learned a lot about the religion since your dad going into a care home
.It wasn`t one sponsored by a religious institution was it .? LOL
Not meaning to be disrespectful there ,but it `s funny how JW`s abuse Christendoms religions all of their lives then depend on them when they become old and frail ,because the WT/JW religion wont take care of them..

Frankly "Scarlett ,I don`t give a damn" what elders say about apostates ,after all in the main they are only quoting what`s been printed in WT publications over the years .And pointing out there errors , false predictions , evidently`s ,maybe`s and apparently`s and so forth.
And passing it all off as Jehovah`s word when he indicated nothing of the sort ?
Your on the right track girl keep reading what ex JW`s are saying about this JW organization.
Would you buy a car off a salesmen trying to sell you a car when multitudes of other people tell you they have been sold a dud by this salesman trying to sell you a car ?

they make sure they are no part of christendom in any way shape or form ,the understanding the r&f have of the organization.. the r&f members are not to have any dealings with christendoms religions in business or otherwise.. but what does the jw organization do ?
they sell watchtower property to christendoms churches for profit .. the r&f are to be separate from the world and call the league of nations and it`s successor the united nations the counterfeit kingdom of god ,the abhorrent thing standing in the place of god ?.

But what does the JW Organization do ? They sell Watchtower property to Christendoms Churches for profit .
The R&F are to be separate from the world and call the League of Nations and it`s successor the United Nations the counterfeit Kingdom of God ,the abhorrent thing standing in the place of God ?
And what do they do ? They take up membership with the UN to supposedly get a library card ,while as a pre-requisite for joining they are to produce in the Awake magazine articles in favor of one or more of the UN`s programs.
Which they did.
And they also ,getting back to aligning themselves with Christendoms religions did they support Jimmy Swaggart`s Ministries as a friend of the court in favor of this religion ? getting a favorable decision ?
They also make the claim they have no clergy class within their religion ,yet when a court case comes up they have no problem claiming clergy penitent when it suits them ?
Maybe you guys can give some more examples or even elaborate on what I have brought up ?

Rank & file JW`s are not employed by the WTB&TS they are just interested individuals who volunteer their services.
Maybe that applies also to Elders and M/servants .
The Rank& file members are probably also just classed as associates.
As Phizzy says it`s all about the money and covering their asses .
