  i hate my life!

  i have to say it, but i do.. i have a sneaking suspicion that because i was raised in the dangerous jehovah borgness cult, that this is the reason.

  i was told if god didn't watch me masturbating or smoking, then he'd let me live forever in perfect conditions.. i left the borg and as a result my jw wife left me and re-married another gung ho jobo.

  punkofnice, I am truly sorry you are going through this punk and it`s hard to know what words to say to truly comfort someone in this position but if I can add to what ThomasMore said

  I won't recommend anything other than a good dog who keeps you grounded. Mine reminds me that someone depends on me and I am needed. I just can't let him down, and he never stops treating me like I am significant to his happiness.

  And I might add " nobody loves you like a dog does."

  They are a great joy and comfort . But make sure you get one as a pup and you will grow old together .

  #1. JW`s, the r&f have to rely on the interpretation the Governing body puts on scriptures ,they don`t beleive you can read the Bible on your own without them to get the true meaning conveyed in the Bible.

  #2. This all relates to how you / they interpret the bible passages in question

  No they don`t , and this also relates to how they interpret the bible passages in question.

  To answer your 3 questions in one sweep is to understand the JW religion is a dictatorial religion ,it is our way or the highway ,if you don`t agree with the GB to the letter ,you wont be accepted as a practicing Jehovah`s Witness.

  If that doesn`t spell out desperation in the organizatiion I don`t know what will .

  They obviuosly don`t have anywhere near enough mature males to fill these roles.

  Next thing you know they will be appealing for sisters with head coverings to fill these vacant rolls as no qualified brothers are available.

  what i mean by the title of this thread is what has happened to a relative of mine, one who is really upset about this factor:.

  this relative is a distant cousin on my mother's side of the family.

  she studied as a child and got baptized at 14 1/2 years old.

  Maybe it all depends on the area you live in whether or not the borg counselled you or the R&F looked upon you as to whether you had a full time job or not and received benefits from your employer or not.

  I`m from the east coast of Australia and never had such a problem and am now well and truly retired living in my own home which I own outright.

  Ironically now that I look back to the first cong I attended the presiding o/seer and his flesh bro,the assistant o/seer were Life insurance sales people. LOL

  And I still didn`t wke up till many years later
