Merry Christmas Everyone

i don't think that it's too early to start this thread so .

merry christmas everyone.

maybe people could share christmas music or clips to get us all in the mood.

I sent about 8 Xmas cards to one`s I shared with a couple of years ago when we last did it .This was in early December ,all went to overseas and I`m just wondering because of Covid whether or not they got there or if they are still in transit ?

Otherwise I`m going into deep depression because I haven`t yet had one response from anyone I sent them to and certainly not one card back yet.

My ego has taken a real dive right now.

However for the rest of you guys ,I hope it`s not too late to wish you all a very Happy and prosperous New Year , and i `m sorry I couldn`t send you all a Xmas card.

asked by sky news australia anchor danica de giorgio why djokovic was granted the visa in the first place, the home affairs minister said: “they’re entirely separate processes”.. “to gain entry to australia you need both – you actually need the visa, which is determined quite separately, and then you have to meet the entry requirements,” she said.. “i know that people are putting the two issues together, but the visa application process and the granting of a visa is very separate to the additional entry requirements that every traveller needs to meet to be able to enter australia.”.

The latest i see is that Djokovic has had his Visa cancelled once again ,is this going to be the end of the farce ?

do you think the jdubs will start up the door whacking again one day?.

there has to be many inside the org that are dreading having to do that again and as for the general public seeing this, it’s hard to imagine.

I think D2D is over and they will become a televangelist religion in the near future.

Their already primed to do this with their new video / movie studio.

There will be more variants of Covid taking place sooner or later and we will just have to learn to live with it for a very long time.

In the 60`s I went on rural territory with a group ,i was relatively new in the "struth" at that time and as we were approaching a farm a voice yelled out to us that the place was under quarantine and not to come any nearer ,I said some stupid thing that it didn`t matter and we just wanted a couple of minutes or so.

He then said if you come any closer I will shoot you . That`s when we turned around.

Many years later in another state i called at a door and before I could say too much my arm was up my back and I was trotted back out to the street.

And the saga / farce rolls on with the Australian officials still not able to come to a decision about Djokovic and the world looks on in disbelief at what a schmozzle the whole affair is.

No wonder Australia has become a joke to the whole world .

Novak `s inconsistency in his statements.

Guardian Australia and others reported that Djokovic appeared at public events in the days after his 16 December test result despite Serbia’s rules requiring 14 days of self-isolation.

These included a ceremony for the unveiling of a stamp in his honour in Belgrade, which he posted about on Twitter, and an event at the Tennis Association of Belgrade for an award ceremony on 17 December.

On 18 December, the French newspaper L’Équipe said he took part in an interview and its Champion of Champions awards photoshoot in Belgrade.

Djokovic was pictured on the streets of Belgrade in a social media post dated 25 December, in apparent contradiction of his declaration form that stated he had not travelled in the two weeks before his flight to Australia, which Australian Border Force began to investigate.

He needs to bow out gracefully ,pack up and go home.

It doesn`t seem like any Australian official has the balls or guts to send him on his way.
