  If your experience with JW`s are party poopers then you were mixing with the wrong JW`s.

  Our social life was great in the Borg, and we were mixing with Elders and MS that I was.

  If any human did any of the things the Bible says God was responsible for ,he/she would be labelled a monster , and either receive the death penalty or spend the rest of his / her life in prison.

  And as I have said before, many a JW may leave the religion but the religion never leaves them.

  And they remain captives unless they do the required amount of research needed to completely debunk the religion.

  To answer the question ,if God / Christ of the Bible don`t exist then no ,and if by some miracle they do then I rest my case.

  next years memorial article focuses on the two class system that they promote.. interestingly, they mention how the anointed are in two covenants.

  the new covenant and the kingdom covenant.

  they claim that both of these covenants opened up the way for a small number to become kings and priests in heaven.

  Why are jw's listening to 'superior authorities' if in all other things they are ruled by satan? why this? How often have the trashed governments, local authorities, etc...

  It couldn`t be that the Bible ,"GOD`s WORD" speaks out of both sides of it`s mouth could it ?

  On the one hand it says, 1 John 5: 19 , "the whole world lying in the power of the wicked one."

  2Cor.4:4 "the God of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers"

  And then again in Rom.13: 1-7 we have the other side of his mouth speaking." let every soul be in subjection to the Superior authorities -because it is the arrangement of GOD , it is GODS minister ,5 their is compelling reason for you to obey for it is GODS minister. notonly on the account of GODS wrath but also on account of your own conscience.

  do jehovah's witnesses interpret the bible properly?.

  jehovah's witnesses see the bible as an organizational book which only the faithful and discreet slave (currently 8 men headquartered in warwick new york) can interpret properly.

  the faithful slave was first appointed in brooklyn in 1919 and given the exclusive right and ability to understand and teach the bible properly.

  You might as well ask "Do the Mormons (or anybody else for that matter) interpret the book of Mormon properly ?

  "Do the Islamist`s / Muslims ( or anybody else ) interpret the Quran properly ?

  They have just as much relevance as the Jehovah`s Witnesses .

  My point being ,they are all fictitious writings that are from men and not from a supreme being called GOD.

  Dune (1984) - er, yeah, lol

  so, i saw dune (1984) yesterday.

  i knew it wasn't gonna be great, but deary me.

  i'm not gonna lie - this film is not good, in fact it's laughably bad in places.. first, i'd like to know the thought process that went behind choosing david lynch to write/direct.

  Not that I can remember the movie Dune 1984 ,but I do remember I liked it.

  This new version ? I wasn`t impressed at all ,in fact I could see Star Wars in it in certain scenes and one on one fight scenes you just see so many times nowadays it just gets boring .

  Still ,I will watch part 2 whenever it is released here in OZ land and hope it`s a lot better and more substance in it than part one.

  Yes ,becoming an ex JW ,you learn to accept other viewpoints and lifestyles that were against WT/JW beliefs .

  You become more tolerant and accepting of people for who they are and not what their lifestyle or beliefs are.

  Would it be correct to equate Faith and belief in any God with superstitious belief ? I believe so.

  their are millions of peoples all around the world who believe in one god or another christian and non christian.. all of them pray to their gods for this, that, and the other.

  by far the majority never hear god answer them audibly ,however most assume he answers their prayers or not , by what transcribes next in their lives.. you pray for what is right according to god and he answers your prayers ,otherwise your prayers are not answered .. those few who who do claim to hear the voice of god audibly are usually found to have mental problems ,either physical or emotional.. if you do good you will be rewarded either now or in the hereafter , if you do bad you will feel the wrath of god and his judgments.
