Have you Witnessed a Change in People's Life-Style / Behaviour where you Live?

i certainly have , over the normal week i go to one of two clubs where i have two beers over a couple of hours ( i pace myself ) and catch up with a few friends .

one of the clubs every hour goes around to disinfect everywhere people make contact with pokies /machines or whatever we might touch.and they also now have limits as to how many can be in a certain area at any one time.and that applies to both clubs ,except one does not disinfect every hour.. today, their were far fewer people in this particular club that i attended that is usually bustling with patrons on a saturday either drinking gambling and socializing .not today.

and a strict rule of how many could be in a certain area at any one time .. and i agree with all of this , its necessary .and i will be monitoring my own activities as need be.. what have you noticed in your neck of the woods.?

Thanks for all of the replies so far ,it seems like its pretty comparable wherever we are in the world ,we are all in the same boat .And most people are abiding by the rules and taking notice of the advice from the appropriate authorities keeping everyone as safe as they can.

However not everybody abides by the rules as the following discloses

.Some out of the way country towns have had small busloads of people from the major cities come into town and buy up as much as they can and then depart.

Of course then the locals who live and work in the town have found the shelves empty and they are left without.

Now ,the supermarkets and local stores want to see I.D. to verify you are a resident of the town before you can shop their .

I can`t verify this but rumour has it that some small shopkeepers will not take cash anymore ,all transactions are by card only .For fear that the virus could be transmitted by the coins or paper money

Has this sort of behaviour happened where you live ?

we all know that things are all going to be way different when we get through this milestone.. like hurricane katrina, people survived this but new orleans even 16 years later is way different.

our economy is like a shark that must keep moving through the water.

stop it and it will die.. the witnesses like many people in the world, have little to no savings.

Here in Australia the Govt .is giving out 189 Billion $$$$ so far in packages to keep the economy still going and one of the things that got me thinking of the JW/WT was that some of this would be going to "Not for profit organizations"

I can just see the WTB&TS putting their hand out for this benefit ,I hope they dont get it.

Maybe someone else can fill in the details.

Thanks Tantalon for that i`m in E.G.Vict. and i believe a lot of the business people here and elsewhere are refusing to take cash you either pay by card or you dont get the goods./no cash wanted .

And some areas are wanting to see I.D. of where you live because many people have been travelling to country towns buying up all they can and their is nothing left for the locals.

In situations like this you can see the best of people but sadly you can also see the worst come out in some people.

your watching this on video in your own home and they want you to dress up as if you were physically at a meeting ?

Is that what a zoom camera is all about ? I`m way out of touch !

If I`ve got it right ,how insane is that ? dress up in your own home ?

The longer this religion goes on the more ridiculous they have become.

It frustrates me that more old timers don`t want to see it .close their minds and bury their head in the sand .

for myself, there is an embarrassingly long list of things that really should really have woken me up, fully.

it was a long process for me, as a mind controlled born in, things i simply did not agree with, or knew were downright wrong, that built and built, and, eventually i woke up, after 58 bloody years in !.

but just mainly for fun, what should have woken you up ?.

Yep,yep,Yep, your right JeffT , now i can`t believe how stupid I was ,in my early conversion I read some of the older publications ,i think Riches and The Harp of God ,but I got sucked in by "the light gets brighter and brighter" as the day goes on or some other BS.
