I love how they keep saying that the sale of Kh`s is not a sign of decline or any suggestion of money troubles ,but its all about growth ? and addressing the new dynamics of looking after their members /congregants .

The average JW doesn`t know or even care about what the GB have ever said about prophecy ,all they ever see is a disaster ,crisis ,pandemic or whatever ,and they think "this is it" G.T./ the big "A"
And when nothing happens wait for the next crisis that I can put my hopes on ?
I know I was gullible at 19 ,however I was never that dumb to do what they are doing now ?
Its mind boggling.

They just keep pulling scriptures out of their arse to fit in with whats taking place in the world today .
They conveniently forget about the prophecy`s / scriptures they have been saying over and over in what order these events were to occur .?
And they have been doing this for the past 100 years , 1914 ,1918, then 1925 , 1939-1945 , 1975 which was the second attempt to place the end of 6,000 years of human history .The first time was in one of the earlier publications.
The end was to take place within the generation that saw and understood the events of 1914 ,and when that didn`t happen lo and behold they had a revelation ,that it was an overlapping generation ? where is that in scripture ?
Lets not forget they also said the big "A" and paradise would take place before the end of the 20th Century ?
That didn`t happen either !
Maybe JW`s do not realise we are in the 21st Century by 20 years .
They may very well ask how do I explain the Conaravirus 19 ? that has gripped the world now ?
Just as you could explain away the Spanish flu Pandemic a Century ago in the 1920`s. and other life threatening diseases that have taken place since then .
And don`t forget all of the other plagues that have gripped mankind over the past centuries.

I wonder how many times this proved true as against how many times the victim continued to be abused and ended up dead .
Of course that would not be revealed in a WT or Awake magazine now would it.

people were piling it into their carts and vehicles as if they were going to be holed up for a year.

I went down to the store today @ 7:10 am as it was for seniors / disability people only for the first hour.
No toilet paper,no tissues,1 pkt. of paper towels left which I got ,pasta,rice ,flour all gone .
Oh ,and their were two policemen at the end of the aisle apparently to secure order with no fights breaking out over toilet paper ,and their was none to be had anyway.
This is a seaside fishing town of about 5-6000 people , normally.
I can`t get my head around why people are so pre-occupiable with toilet paper.?
It`s not as though its a shitty disease ?

War question
by tmkm130 inhi, my father is a jehovah's witness.
my sister wanted to do something nice for him and decided to have a shirt made with the ship he was on when he was in the navy many years ago.
he was not in the war, but he said that he can't wear it because jehovah's witnesses don't believe in war.

Jehovah`s Witnesses like to pick and choose what scripture they will obey and those they don`t like or contradicts their beliefs. So you will have an uphill battle with this question.
First off J.W`s do believe in war ,they believe in the" War of the Great day of God Almighty at Armageddon" by Christ Jesus/Jehovah God.
That will kill billions of people man woman and child simply because they are not Jehovah`s witnesses anytime soon.
Jehovah God is well known as being a war God in the Old Testament. He sanctioned many wars including genocide of many peoples and Nations.
In the New Testament Cornelius an army officer of the italian band was favoured by Jehovah God and accepted while he was in the army and there is no indication he ever left or was required to do so.
I wish you well in talking to your father ,but i`m afraid it will fall on deaf ears .
There is a scripture in the Bible that is applied to false gods & Idols ,however I find it aptly applies to Jehovah`s Witnesses.
Psalm 115: 5-8
"Eyes they have but they cannot see,
Ears they have but they cannot hear,
and a mouth they have but they cannot speak."
that is The Truth About The Truth , ( TTATT) but that`s just the way I see things.

Their is a scripture for every occasion and JW`s are masters at using them to their advantage .
The current global pandemic reminds us of the description of the ride of the fourth horseman in Revelation chapter 6, which includes mention of “deadly plague.” These events strengthen our faith that we are living in the final part of the last days.
"The Bible is like a musical instrument that you can play any tune on." to fit your agenda.
Of course they omit the fact that the earth and humanity have suffered many plagues throughout the centuries and the "end" didn`t come then.
