The organization doesn't care. The leaders are nicely quarantined in their safe spots, nice and safe so they can laugh at those who are dumb enough to continue while they drag their feet in issuing orders or issue the wrong orders.

And since this is probably the stupidest excuse to go out, I advise everyone to not wait for an official notice. Do not go to the boasting sessions--even if the virus is still not in your area. (You are donating your energy to joke-hova to worsen the eventual communism that comes from the crisis, which leaves you more open to it when it does come). Do not go out in field circus, and I mean at all. No letter writing, no phone calls, no nothing. And especially door to door, where you are just searching for coronavirus to catch and spread through the whole territory. If you simply must give your energy to joke-hova, it is better to stream the boasting session on your device instead of going to the coronavirus hall. You still end up vulnerable, but you do not get exposed to the virus or spread it to others.

Conventions are canceled in New Zealand, but they are still going to have meetings and are about to do a leaflet drop to attract fresh prey to the memorial.

    Friends,

In line with Branch directions, consultation with the CO, and based on the national, state and city declarations warning against large groups and public assembly due to the COVID-19 outbreak, a decision has been made to cancel all our Christian Meetings until March 31, 2020.

    Field Ministry Activities

Additionally, we will be suspending all public ministry (e.g. door-to-door, cart witnessing, invitation distributions, etc.) activities until further notice. Arrangements will be made through each Field Service Group to distribute letter writing or phone witnessing territories. In line with directions from health officials, please do not lick the stamps (use a damp sponge or another similar methods). For Return Visits or Bible Studies, the recommendation is to conduct them via either phone, email, or video conference or through some other appropriate remote communications.

    The Memorial

The Memorial previously scheduled at the Assembly Hall has been cancelled and there will not be a campaign to invite the general public. Further arrangements regarding the Memorial will be communicated at a later date.

I suspect they will direct that the Memorial be observed in field service groups, in private homes.

If things get much worse, they might even direct everyone to stay at home and watch via streaming.
