dont get distracted by the percentages dudes. . .
from 2019 till 2021 they a peak membership increase of only 3800 people
from 2019 till 2021 the average membership only increased 9100
This is after billions of hours have been expended to recruit more members and changing how they count active publishers. To top it off let's be real, most of us know in the western countries, at least, it just born ins getting baptized.

PIMO elder
by Reservations ini’m reservations, pimo elder.
i’m in no position to leave the organisation, maybe some people will see that as weak or whatever, but we have to all go down our own path in life.. i would like to be able to wake people up in my congregation, how do you think best to do this?

I haven't seen this answer really pop up thus far, but if you need to continue the pimo life for a while. I would boldly and bluntly put up front the Orgs more ridiculous doctrines that get buried in couched language and the barrages of "send more money and do more service."
Things that are in line with official doctrine but stated more plainly to highlight the absurdity. . .
"Remember brothers that we are still waiting for Christs third return."(1st century physical, 1914 invisible, 3rd time as Michael/ visible but spirit realm??)
"We need to keep in mind since as members of the great crown, we do not have Christ as our mediator it is important we rely on the faithful slave to have a relationship with Jehovah."
"Since about 2007 we now know the heavenly calling WAS NOT closed in 1935, we should not be suspicious of those who newly begin partaking."
The Christian Greek scriptures were not written for us since we are not anointed of spirit.
The great crowd aren't baptized into or a part of the body or Christ, we are baptized into an organization.
We aren't the adopted as children of God since we aren't part of the body of Christ, remember Jehovah is not our Father yet, we just hope to be his friends.
These types of things. . . .
I also love when 4 CLEARLY different generations of family is gathered, and pointing out Great Grandma and Baby are actually 1 generation since their lives overlap. lol

Im a watchtower/bible students history nerd. I find the movement that engulfed my entire family fascinating. So while I was looking for old literature I came across the book "Beyond the Watchtower" by Joseph and Elizabeth Taze Malik.
Any body have any info on them or this particular book? I never heard of it and don't know if its the typical story of witnesses who woke up or if they were anyone out of ordinary due to the high asking price of the book?
The unique author names give me an inkling that they may have been of the ilk, that some are, when they leave the Jws and start thinking they are prophets themselves.

What day off the Week?
by BereanThinker7 indoes anybody know if the borg has ever done any articles on what day of the week they think jesus died?
i know most denominations think it was friday and i have also heard somewhat sensible arguments that it could be wednesday.
not that it matters weather one in a believer or not even.

Actually it would be called historical reconstruction. If your not interested do bother commenting and continue in your post-modern world where all things that exist, outside of personal lived experience, are simply constructs.
Bart Ehrman (a secular agnostic):
This is not even an issue for scholars of antiquity.... The reason for thinking Jesus existed is because he is abundantly attested in early sources.... If you want to go where the evidence goes, I think that atheists have done themselves a disservice by jumping on the bandwagon of mythicism, because frankly, it makes you look foolish to the outside world. If that’s what you’re going to believe, you just look foolish.Michael Grant:
we can no more reject Jesus' existence than we can reject the existence of a mass of pagan personages whose reality as historical figures is never questioned. ..... In recent years, 'no serious scholar has ventured to postulate the non historicity of Jesus' or at any rate very few, and they have not succeeded in disposing of the much stronger, indeed very abundant, evidence to the contrary.EP Sanders:
Historical reconstruction is never absolutely certain, and in the case of Jesus it is sometimes highly uncertain. Despite this, we have a good idea of the main lines of his ministry and his message. We know who he was, what he did, what he taught, and why he died. ..... the dominant view [among scholars] today seems to be that we can know pretty well what Jesus was out to accomplish, that we can know a lot about what he said, and that those two things make sense within the world of first-century Judaism.

Dear
WTWizard,
If your not going to contribute a comment that actually answers my question and instead bring up "mythicist theories" then please just move it along. Neither atheist or agnostic historians scholars give an ounce of credibility to the mythicist idea. If you don't think that there was a Jewish man named Jesus that lived in Palestine and killed by the Romans, then you have no basis to think any ancient historical person existed at all.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't, seeing as you apparently believe in some "mandatory torture shot" nonsense.
