the cash was in the amount of $3700 dollars, and was the stores cash receipts.
so said apostate called the store and reported the money, and then returned it.

Update on AlanF's Daughter
by AlanF innow that dad has recovered his equilibrium, i just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who expressed concern about my daughter the last couple of weeks.
in the great scheme of things this is a minor matter but it sure affected me!
i guess my family has been pretty lucky compared to others.. anyway, julie (that's the daughter one, not the wifely one) recovered so fast that she returned to school this past monday.

Now this is the kind of GOOD NEWS that I like to hear. Yes, she is young and is recovering fine, but I'm afraid that as parents, recovery for you will be slow. I'm glad she's recoving so well.
Did you do this? When my son was in a car accident last year, all I could do was look at his pictures from birth to now. He was so fortunate (only bruises, sore ribs, minor things), but the trauma for me was intense. All I could think of was, what if...

Wife makes a funny

My girlfr and I went to the Assembly Hall today
by coult9056 in5 years removed from being inside the indianapolis assembly hall of jehovah's witnesses, 4 years from attending a meeting at the kingdom hall, this morning my girlfriend and i walked into the assembly hall.
we were taking an early morning walk in our jogging clothes in downtown indy.

How to defend against shunning

I'm with you 99.9% on this. It's true, you show them that you are the same loving person that you were when you were a JW and it really takes them back a bit. I saw a sister just the other day and I spoke to her, and she spoke back. I could tell it hurt her that she didn't say more to me. I left it up to her to make more converstion, I know she was embarrassed. She's a woman who had been through numerous negative situations in her life and we helped her through so many of them. The other JWs just talked behind her back and never helped. I still love her and hope that things are going better for her.

Come on you guys and dolls. How many years did we wait for Armaggedon, with the hope of a paradise earth? How many hours did we put in service? How many meetings did we attend? How much money did you give? How many sacrifices did you make for the WTBTS? HOW? HOW? HOW, can you give up so easily on Dateline? Yes, I want it to air as much as anybody, but look at the time span and what has been going on since Dateline has been in the picture. The Catholic church as well as others are being underfire and this can only add more fuel to the the fire against the 'org.'. It'll happen, don't be too impatient and don't give up.
Now, when did they say it was gonna air again? Just kidding.

...not a witness yet, not a witness yet...That's a good sign. Do you ask your study conductor questions, concerning the info that you glean from the friends here and esp. the Bible or do you just take for granted what they tell you. I use to ask 'all' the questions, however, the closer the friendship got I stop questioning and just started accepting. Can't believe I became a mental sponge...I just absorbed everything they pored on me. I develpoed a strong sence of trust in them and stopped thinking for myself.

I can't believe I was so STUPID!But, I sure do love the family that studied with me. They are the nicest, kindest people I know, but, I have realized that if they were Baptist, Catholic, etc. they would still be the same kind of people. Even though they don't talk to me or my family, I still LOVE them, cause that's just the way I am. There are others in the org. that I do not care for because they are not good people at all.
Vi, ask questions and be firm in seeing that they are answered correctly and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, PLEASE.
