I like Billy's suggestion, it can be read as a conversation starter by a thinking person, if he is still a thinking person!

How many of you here became inactive and went back for the second time and then left for good?
by FingersCrossed inand what were the reasons?.

happy@last
Wow HB, what an amazing story, wishing you and hubby all the best on your new life together. I've only left once and until I read your story would have said I don't understand why anyone would go back a second time. Everyone's different, I do feel sorry for anyone who thinks they need to go to a cult in order go fix their problems.

What were your favorite assembly foods?
by NoRegrets inso i'm young enough to not remember having hot prepared meals at assemblies, but heard all about it from my parents and the like.
but what i do remember were all of the cold sandwiches and institutional snacks and soda.
remember the food tickets we started to use?

I'm turning myself in. Lurking elders, are you listening?
by Eve Deceived ini think it's fitting for my very first post to be a thread on jw.net turning myself in to any lurking elders out there on a witch-hunt to cleanse the congregation so that god's choosen ones can "remain in god's love.
" so i'm sorry to all you awesome, truthful apostates on this site, but this thread is really intended for any lurking nazis -- i mean, the taliban -- ugh, i mean elders of the world's most "loving" cult religion.. i am an apostate.
here, i'll save you the trouble:.

in the last 4 months my eyes have been opened to ttatt, my biggest issue is that the elders have been grooming me to appoint me as an elder.

I suggest you do decline, perhaps on the basis that you need to devote all your time to your family just now, believe me if you have woken to TTATT then becoming an elder will only make things worse for you

Resigned being an elder
by subytrek ini am new here and this is my first post although i have lurked here for a couple years.
i started having doubts about the org back then and my curiosity overcame my fear of so-called apostate websites so here i am.
i just resigned being an elder 2 weeks ago.
-
happy@last
Welcome here, I bet you feel a whole lot better having resigned! They didn't write back to me, they left it until the CO visit, and let him accept my resignation. I had circumstances that meant I could resign without speaking of my doubts, so just be careful in case they wait until the CO sees you first.

What is your definition of a real life, Moshe?
Maybe one free from indoctrination?
